~ mossclan's territory, predators, and prey ~
mossclan lives in a large forest near a swamp. it looks like this.
there is a nearby lake, on the outskirts of the camp, which is where
camp members fish. it looks like this.
mossclan cats hunt for fish, small deer (fawns), birds, and rodents.
they are preyed on by snakes, crocodiles, coyotes, and deer.

~ the ranks in mossclan ~
mossclan cats live by a standard clan-ranking system with a few
tweaks made by leaders long ago. though their ranking system Is different,
they get on just fine how they are.

leader
this cat leads the clan. they have nine lives and are an example to the clan.

deputy
this cat will take over as leader once the leader looses all lives.

medicine cats
two cats that heal the sick and help the injured. they mentor the medicine cat apprentices.

medicine cat apprentices
two kittens that are training to become medicine cats. they help out with the medicine cats,
gather herbs, and hope that they will earn their medicine cat name given by starclan.

warriors
cats older than twelve moons who are not nursing kits that fight and hunt for the clan.

apprentices
kittens six moons to twelve moons. trained by warriors to hunt and fight.

queens
pregnant shecats who are nursing kittens.

kits
kittens under six moons of age. live in the nursery with their mothers (queens)

elders
warriors who are too old to hunt or fight, otherwise are injured or disabled so they cannot
function as an elder. (ex. blind, lost a leg, etc.)
