(Shoot I just realized someone already has a Russet cat with the same picture as me - would you like me to change it?)

Wrenfoot ♂|| Warrior ||38 moons||→None

His paws crunch against the half frozen blades of grass as they exit camp, knowing overnight it'd probably gotten cold enough to turn a small pool into solid ice. Over leaf-bare he had to build up his nest more to keep warm as the night could become bone chilling. Without a close friend or mate to share heat with, only keeping a large nest seemed to help keep some of the cold off his pelt. Following behind the deputy, the scent he picked up was obvious to a cat like him who was weary of strangers that didn't carry clan scent.
However, as the cat dismisses them to hunt, the ginger tom flattens his ears and a bit and watches the warriors split up. "Figures... Guess I'll see you two back at camp." Willowtail was quick to her leave as he dismisses himself from Vervainclaw. She was a less than adequate hunter and would only slow him down, so the tom found it best to leave without saying much. The chill in the air was enough to keep a mouse curled up underground, so his hopes of a good hunt were already pretty low. His back to where Willowtail and Firefang had gone, he pads silently through the forest tasting the air for any prey. It takes him a while before he stumbles upon some fresh squirrel, likely looking for something to eat. Crouching and making his way across the cold ground, he spots the brown rodent picking through a few pine cones. The dim sun slowly warming his pelt, the slim tom leaps out and catches the squirrel between his claws with a smile on his face. Quickly killing it, he takes note it's skinny and hardly worth the effort, but either way it was dead now as he carries it in his jaws back towards camp.

Vervainclaw ♀|| Warrior ||26 moons||→None

She was happy to be out in the forest being as useful as she was, it wasn't everyday she got noticed for any patrol really. The forest was quiet and dimly lit by the rising sun, enjoying the warmth it offered her frozen pelt as they walked. The border wasn't far when Firefang picked up a loner's scent, catching her a bit off guard. It wasn't everyday she got the chance to fight, but the deputy was quick to shoot the others down of that satisfaction. Huffing a bit as the cats drifted away from her, the grey and white cat stood in the forest alone for a while and thought about where to go. Wrenfoot had gone one way while Firefang and Willowtail had gone another.
Sighing heavily at the thought of having no friends yet again, her yellow eyes glare into the forest as she looks for something to hunt. Hunting had never been her strong point, in fact is was probably the worst thing every to be stuck hunting alone. She'd come back with empty paws almost every time, it was so embarrassing! Determined to prove herself wrong, the small cat works her way through the undergrowth with her nose held high in search of food.

[✦]dawnclan' s deputy

                --------- The last thing Firefang expected out of the she-cat before him was the complete and utter lacking of any gratefulness towards his offer. Shaking his head in near remorse, he took a step back, his gaze examining her in a thoughtful manner as he attempted to decide how to handle the she-cat in such a situation. Cocking his head to the side, he began to pace around her, flicking his tail behind him, attempting to cause for her to grow uncomfortable. "I risk my position as Dawnclan's deputy as I stand before you with this offer, yet you shove it aside as though the words were poisoned," he spoke, stopping before her, though he were now closer, practically bearing down upon her.

                Eyes met hers as he examined her once more, thinking over his next move. "I wish for you to leave this territory," Firefang began with near venom, pelt bristling ever so slightly as the next sentence were on the tip of his sharp tongue. "Stay near the border, for I will check on you and your well-being when the time allots for it," he finished, with that turning his back on her as he made his way back to her makeshift den. Using his broad paws, he collected the ground's clutter and began filling in the nest, and upon finishing, marked the tree for an extra measure.

                Firefang found it a great disappointment that the she-cat refused his assistance, therefore deciding he would push her to regret such words as she spoke to him. Only then would she value his offer, and his he hoped, would accept his kindness. Deciding to wait and ensure she exit his clan's territory, he sat with his tail resting over his front paws. Having been so caught up with dealing with the strange feline, he nearly failed to notice as a new scent met his senses. Giving a displeased growl under his breath, he stalked in the direction of the scent, his ears flattening as his eyes caught sight of the red she-cat, noticing she was not far from where he had spoken with the other rogue.

                Lips curling back in anger, he rose a paw as though he were about to strike her, though quickly decided against it and forced his paw back to the cool earth. "Yet another she-cat acting as a thorn in my paw," Firefang snarled in near disbelief, wondering if the entire territory was about to fill with yet more. "You smell of two-legs, you do not belong in this land, you could very well come to your demise," he spat, finding that he cared all to much for these stranger's lives. What has become of me? he thought to himself, anguish overwhelming him, being as he knew very well he would hold himself accountable for any misfortunes to befall these she-cats.

                His gaze searched over the kittypet, seeing she were in better shape than the other she-cat, a thought struck him. "Come with me," Firefang spoke, and with that he made his way to the first she cat to have disturbed his day. "I have a plan," he began as he sat, gesturing for the other two to follow suit. Eyes wondered to the sky as he watched looming grey clouds overhead, wishfully hoping that they would not release snow upon the earth. "If you two have one another, you shall be better off on this land. Have you any interest to join Dawnclan, I will train you so that upon being presented to Lilystar, you both will most certainly be accepted. We do not take in cats unable to help the clan, or those that have no respect for those above him," he spoke, his last few words mostly directed to the dusty she-cat.

                Firefang had no regrets towards what he spoke, though only hoped the two faes' pride were not above them to accept his offer, knowing that not only would he be saving their lives, but adding two healthy she-cats to his clan. Alas, finding the time to train both of them may very well intervene with his apprentices training. Unless of course, he spoke to Leafpaw of the two. He saved the thought for a later time, knowing it would be risky to tell a young cat of such information, for the fact they are easily twisted into telling what information they might know.

Delilah's facade of confidence faltered for a moment as the tom in front of her's expression darkened and he became much more serious and intimidating. As quickly as her confidence felt, she built the wall back up again, this time higher and thicker. "I didn't ask you to risk whatever it is that seems to mean so much to you." Delilah paused, her mind running over a million thoughts at once. Her first instinct was to become just as aggressive as he had, but she knew in the back of her mind that that would only cause a fight, and she had no energy for such escapades at the moment. She didn't even know if she had the energy to run if this tom turned violent and chased her from the territory. And so, with a muffled grumble, the she--cat opted for a softer and more submissive approach. She wasn't too keen on losing her life due to her pride. At least not today and not to this tom.

Delilah parted her maw to reply as the pale tom gave her what seemed like orders. Whatever a 'deputy' was, or whatever he had said his position was, it must be a position of authority as he seemed to give orders with ease and obviously expected them to be carried out without question. Before she could respond to his words, the tom turned and made his way to the den that she had dug out and filled it in. Delilah scowled, watching as he hid any sign of her presence, but kept her mouth shut, knowing that he was doing her a favor even if she despised being pitied.

It was then that the sandy colored loner heard a small squeak coming from somewhere behind her. She jumped up quickly, her eyes instantly wide and wary, before whipping around to see what had made the small noise. The tom that had found her seemed to sense a presence as well, as he began to make his way towards the sound. It was soon discovered that what had made the noise was a small red she-cat. And based on the tom's reaction, she wasn't supposed to be here either. Her pale eyes watched curiously as the pale tom brought the red she-cat over, and then spoke to both of them.

Listening to the tom's plan, Delilah's eyes narrowed and she glanced between the she-cat beside her and the tom in front of them. This plan did not inherently appeal to the loner. She scowled, keeping her mouth shut however so that she didn't risk the 'deputy's' temper. Her mind whirred once again, thinking of a way out of her current situation. Sure, Delilah hated pity and felt as though she needed no one's help. But, on the other paw, the thought of food almost made her salivate. She also thought of what this tom meant by 'training'. Delilah already knew how to hunt and her fighting skills were at least half way decent. She went over the pros and cons of the proposition in her head for a long moment. She didn't know if she could suffer this tom's company any longer, and she definitely didn't want to spend any time with a kitty-pet of all creatures. But again, the call of food appealed to her greater than any of the cons. Besides, if she found she couldn't handle it, she could always take off once she had regained her strength. It wasn't like Delilah was really planning on joining 'Dawnclan' or whatever that was. No, she was a nomad and settling down only brought tragedy. And so, despite the risk, Delilah gave a simple nod in response to the tom in front of him, hoping that her lack of a verbal response wouldn't anger him.

Brokenstone tom;58 moons; Senior Warriortags;; Ivyfrost, Lilystar, Comfreyfeather; Nursery
His mind whirled win thoughts of what he would have to do for the clan today. It was leaf bare, and prey was very scarce. Ivyfrost was due to have her kits soon, and Comfreyfeather had four small kits to feed. The clan would have to go into over drive trying to find prey to feed everyone. Despite the cold of the wind, he was able to stay warm in his place at the middle of the den. Being a senior warrior had its perks sometimes, he supposed. The tom felt movement in the den and cracked open an eye to see a few Warriors leave the den. His lean muscles felt wonderful as he stretched and rose into a sitting position. He gave himself a quick wash and padded quietly out of the warm den, his fur bristling as he stepped into the cold. Due to his fluffy coat, he didn't get as cold as some of his clanmates, but it still didn't desensitize him from the shock of cold after first waking up. His paws carried him over to check on the fresh kill pile. It looked as scarce as it always did during these moons. A sigh escaped him, and he supposed he should hunt after checking in with Lilystar. He padded towards the nursery and moved through the small opening to see Lilystar and Ivyfrost chatting. Comfreyfeather was beginning to stir, so he mewed a greeting to all of them. "Good morning. Lilystar, is it alright if I go out hunting, or do you have something else you'd prefer me to do?"

Comfreyfeather she-cat;27 moons;Queen tags;;
Her ears pricked at Lilystar's voice, addressing Ivyfrost and the wellbeing of the kits inside her swollen belly. She smiled, purring at the feeling of her kits laying curled up beside her. As of on cue they started mewling, wanting some milk and more warmth. The she-cat opened her eyes and stretched delicately, still very sore from kitting. "Goodmorning Lilystar, Ivyfrost," she mewed sweetly, rolling into her side so her kits could eat. She noticed Brokenstone padding into the nursery and smiled as he entered. "Would you mind bringing me something from the fresh kill pile Brokenstone?"

Finchkit tom;less than one moon;Kit Comfreyfeather
The tiny tom started mewling, pushing his siblings gently to get to his mother for milk. He was chilly and hungry, so what else was he supposed to do? His eyes weren't working yet, so he used his nose to find where he was supposed to go, taking big paw steps to get there.

Hawkkit she-cat;less than one moon;Kit tags;; Comfreyfeather
She mewed as she got pushed by her brother, padding next to him so she could eat too, letting Skykit get beside her, sheltering her sibling.

Cloudkit she-cat;less than one moon;Kit tags;;Comfreyfeather
The tiny ball of fur was awoken by her siblings going to her mother for food, she was glad though, her stomach was rumbling. She used her nose to follow the sweet scent of milk mixed with juniper berries to find her mother, hoping for some milk.

Skykit tom;less than one moon;Kit tags;; Comfreyfeather
The shy tom crawled towards his mother's stomach, not knowing where he should go. His sister moved to allow him passage and he took it gladly.

Pepper she-cat;6 moons;Kittypet tags;;Firefang, Deliah
The young she-cat purred with excitement, this is what she always wanted. "I'd love to join DawnClan! I know how hard it is living out here, where you have to hunt and fight for what is yours. I've been watching the clan since I was just kitted. Two leg life isn't for me," she sighed, flicking her tail at the thought of her normal Kittypet lifestyle. Too many days of loneliness and boredom had fallen upon her as she sat and let her dreams take her away from her house folk. "If that means waiting and getting training from you first, I'll do it. I'm only just under 6 moons old, so I think I have time to become okay enough to join your clan. She took a second to pause, flicking her red tail to rest on her paws. "I have only hunted a bird or two, but I'm really willing to learn! I'd also be willing to go with you if it means joining the clan, and making a new friend." A shiver of excitement raced down her spine, she might get to live the life she'd dreamed of since birth. Her eyes were lit with happiness, she was still a kit, but she hoped one day to be like him.

Fallenpaw | Camp | No Tags | Content
Fallenpaw glanced around the camp, her amber eyes skimming over the cats around her. Her brother sat a few tail lengths away from her, his russet paws kneading the ground in anticipation. He seemed to be excited today - probably happy for training, as usual. He always seemed so cheerful. Fallenpaw herself much enjoyed training, but she didn't show it much. Her black tail swished back and forth, awaiting her mentor, or at least something that didn't involve clearing bedding.

Maplepaw | Camp | No Tags | Excited
Maplepaw's paws were kneading the ground, tearing up the dirt as he waited. He wanted to start training as soon as possible - he would be the best warrior ever! Whiskers twitching happily, he risked a glance at his littermate, who was sitting stiff as usual. He knew she was excited to; he could see it in her eyes. He could tell her emotions when she tried to hide them. That's why most cats thought her cold. His mind wandered to what he'd be doing, and eventually he began to anticipate training even more.
