Gears looked down at the pony addressing them. "Well, maybe." He replied, standing and kicking his cloud out of existence, gliding down to see the pony and dropping with a little noise so that the evidently blind or hard-of-seeing mare could hear where he was. "I would offer her a job, but with business like it is and my niece's habits being less than frugal, I couldn't offer her very much at all."

"Bye, Dusty." Sprocket called, before turning to Cinnamon Spice. "Baked goods? That would be perfect! And we could invite other ponies so they would be able to get to know more of the town, and from there they wouldn't have much trouble finding help if they need it, or friends to hang out with. Who else do you think would like to come?" Sprocket paused. "Gears would hate it, but I think maybe Love Shield might like to go. Can I have a hot chocolate?" She added, putting a few bits on the counter.

Love Shield slowly fluttered down to Silver. "What would you have in offer for me?" She asked her, looking at Silver like a lost puppy. "Ooh, your eyes are pretty." She commented.

[x]--After saying farewell to Dusty Rose, Cinnamon turned her attention back towards Sprocket. "Hmm... do you think Silver Stopwatch might like to come?" she offered. "Besides her, I can't think of anymore ponies," she admitted with a shrug. She wasn't that social of a pony, so this probably wouldn't have come off as much of a surprise.

"One hot chocolate, coming right up," she said happily as she levitated the bits from the counter into the cash register. She made her way towards the back of the counter, getting together the ingredients and materials she would need-- milk, cream, sugar, a few bits of fine chocolate to further bring out the flavor. As she began to make the hot chocolate entirely with her magic, she called out to Sprocket over her shoulder. "Is there anything you want on or in it? Marshmallows, whipped cream, extra milk?"

"Extra milk would be great!" Sprocket replied. "Um, let's see, maybe Aquila would like to come. I'm not sure she has very many friends. And, um, maybe Star Gazer, and of course we couldn't forget Dusty Rose. I'll invite her when I go to get the roses." She sat at one of the tables to think for a minute. "I hope they like surprises." She added, suddenly doubtful of herself, though it passed quickly. "Well, if they don't, I'm sure they'll like your desserts, and the roses, and meeting their new neighbors."

Love Shield slowly fluttered down to Silver. "What would you have in offer for me?" She asked her, looking at Silver like a lost puppy. "Ooh, your eyes are pretty." She commented.

"I know someone that makes star maps...and I need assistance getting around..." Silver said with a small smile. "My eyes may be pretty to others but they give me trouble getting around with tripping or bumping into things.".

Almost completely ignoring her first offer, Love shield jumped up and said, "ooh, i'd never turn down the opportunity to help anypony!" She sat down after fluttering her wings a little.

"As you can see my eyes are not bright like other ponies...I've been blind since I was born." Silver said softly.

Love shield gave her a small hug and said, "well that makes three of us that are special. Feel my horn" she bent her head down toward Silver.

Silver felt the curved horn of the mare then retracted her hoof. "I do not judge ponies by their looks I judge their hearts...when I have conversations with them I can tell a pure heart from a corrupted one. Your heart is pure..." Silver smiled.

Love shield sighed, "I wish others would understand that.... oh did I ever introduce myself? My name's Love shield. Call me whatever you want."
