Jaggedtail smiled and nodded. He curled up in his nest, his tail wrapped around his muzzle.As he slowly closed his eyes, it didn't take long before he was in a deep sleep.

Brightfern
Brightfern awoke slowly and sat in upright in her bed. She smiled at the sight of Darkstrike and Crowpaw together and gave herself a quick wash. She decided to wait until Riverpaw awoke to start her work.

Darkestrike
Darkstrike's eyes opened wide with shock, "I'll take that its okay then." He said with a relieved smile. "Come on stop laughing before you hurt yourself again." He said with a laugh to.

Crowpaw
Crowpaw slowly stopped laughing. But she smiled. "I'm not ok with it but I'll put up with it. If it makes my mother happy, so be it. It'll take time to get used to, you being my mentor and all. But we need to set a few ground rules." she started, keeping her playful smile. But the look in her eyes changed. It hardened, turning hostile and almost murderous. "Your NOT my father. And if you hurt her, I will find you and I will kill you. And if you die like my father, I will bring you back to life and kill you again." she said innocently, venom lining her voice. Her smiled widened and her eyes went back to having a friendly light. "If you understand that, we won't have any problems." Crowpaw said cheerfully.

Boulderstar

Boulderstar lifted his head sleepily. The morning sun streamed into the den and the tom blinked his eyes. Boulderstar sat up and padded, with stiff muscles, out of his den. He took a breath of fresh air and observed the camp. Not many cats were up yet. The leader sat outside his den as he waited for the clan to awaken.

Mosstail

Mosstail blinked the sleep a=out of her eyes and stood up. She pushed her way out of thee warrior's den and into the camp clearing. Mosstail waited patiently for the morning patrol announcements. After a second she remembered that Boulderstar would be announcing the new deputy today.

Charlie

Charlie snored softly in his den. He wasn't planning on getting up until the others did. Besides, he was having a great dream about a fat mouse he was chasing.

Blossomfur

Blossomfur lifted her head and looked around. It took her a moment to realize where she was but then she remembered she had spent the night in a tree near camp. Blossomfur got up and slowly made her way down to the tree.

Ravenpaw

Ravenpaw got up from his nest and padded into the clearing, looking around for his mentor, Hazelbreeze

Riverpaw got up and shook the moss from her fur. She could hear Brightfern up and turned her head in towards her mentor. "Good morning Brightfern, is there anything you need me to do?", she asked.

Brightfern blinked and then smiled to see Riverpaw. "Good morning Riverpaw, yes there is a task I have for you." She replied before standing and shaking her pelt. "Could you please go and find some more Bindweed and twigs? Even though I don't think Crowpaw needs anymore, she used most of what we had." She ordered with a kind smile. "That wont be too much of a hassle, will it Riverpaw?" She said with a helpful mew.

Darkestrike
Darkstrike shuddered, but then smiled and nodded. "I wouldn't ever think of hurting your mother. I completely understand, so there is no need to make these threats alright?" He meowed before looking back out over the clearing. He sighed and turned back to her, "I know this isn't easy, and even a little bit awkward. It will take time to get used to me being with your mother, and I thank you for already being so optimistic about it all. Thank you, Crowpaw." He added before turning and giving her a teasing sneer, "Don't think that this will let you off the hook on training." He said with a playful nudge.

Crowpaw nodded before she smirked. "Wouldn't dream of it. It's just giving me more motivation to kick your furry butt in battle practice." she said confidently. If he was going to be with her mother, she was going to give him a hard time in training. And by a hard time, she meant she was going to try harder to get better and prove she could be better than he was.

Darkstrike smiled and nodded at the young she-cat's confidence. He turned back to her and asked, "Are you sure you aren't hungry? If your not, than I am going to go get a piece of fresh kill."

Crowpaw let her face turn emotionless again as she shook her head. "I'm sure. It'll be the second day I haven't eaten, but I just don't feel hungry. I should probably ask Brightfern." she said seriously. Though she looked down when her belly made a gurgling noise. She really wasn't hungry. Even when Darkstrike said not to worry, she was worried.

She looked back over to Riverpaw, "If you know how to find it, than you can go on ahead. If you don't, stay a moment while I help Crowpaw." She purred as she nuzzled her apprentice gently. Quickly, she went over to the herb inventory and looked for a certain herb. She grabbed a long skinny plant that had pale ovate leave along it. Shetore off the leave and padded over to Crowpaw. She sat beside her and knelt to give her the leaves. "Darkstrike tells me you have not been eating. I could tell you were going through some anxiety and grief with Darkstrike being with you mother. These leaves will help with just that." She meowed as she nudged the leaves to Crowpaw's paws. These don't taste too bad, in fact, they don't taste like much of anything.

Darkestrike
Darkstrike agreed, "Yes, we should ask Brightfern. I'll do that for you alright?" He offered as he stood up. He gave her a comforting lick on the ear before padding over to Brightfern, "I'm sorry to interrupt Brightfern, but can you please check Crowpaw? She hasn't been eating, and we were hoping if there was anything you could do." He asked with a respectful dip of his head.

Crowpaw stared at all the cats confused but she nodded. She didn't really feel anxious and she wasn't grieving because of that but Brightfern knew best and she's trust her. Even if she worked in a creepy den. That made the she-cat shiver. "An I suppose to eat them?" she asked suspiciously, eyeing the leaves.

"Yes." She replied with a soft and encouraging smile. She stepped back a bit to give her some space.

Darkestrike
Darkstrike said nothing but sat beside her for moral support. His tail swayed anziously behind him to see if she would eat the herbs.
