Jaggedtail
Jaggedtail looked over to Sundapple and smiled, "yes." He said with a croak. "When Boulderstar became leader, I thought that I would go out myself and congratulate him. We took a walk around the territory to talk, and once we finished the sun had already set. We tried to make our way back, however, we were lost. Yes, this is the second time I was lost." Jaggedtail rasped with a chuckle, "I was actually the one who found the way back this time. Nothing says 'congratulations' like getting lost in the woods at night!" Jaggedtail meowed as he let out a cough.

Brightfern
Brightfern nodded with a proud smile, "Your doing great." She purred as she grabbed the old bindweed and twig, "I will be back soon, I'm just going to toss this out in the dirt place." She meowed before standing in the entrance, "You can handle this, Riverpaw." She spoke before padded out of then den, then out of the clearing.

Darkestrike
Darkstrike smiled and bowed his head, "Will do." He held her gaze for a moment before turning and leaving out of the den. The clearing was so much different from inside the den, and he sat outside for a moment to take it all in. He stood up once more and padded into the medicine cat den. He went and sat next to Crowpaw he gave her a friendly lick on the ear. "Are you doing alright, Crowpaw?"

Silverkit and Wolfflower
Wolfflower stared after the tom, who's figure was already out of sight. She smiled lightly, seeming to be thinking of something. Silverkit looked at her funny before running over to the vole Darkstrike had brought in earlier. Wolfflower snapped out of her trance as her kit started to scarf down the meal. She laughed and padded over so she could get some as well.

Crowpaw
Crowpaw turned her attention from the uncomfortable Riverpaw to a seemingly happy Darkstrike. The corners of her mouth twitched, like they were about to lift up in smile, but didn't. "I'm fine, but still glad your back. Did you see my mother and Silverkit?" she asked, her normal emotionless attitude present.

Darkstrike smiled thoughtfully, "Yes I did. I'm sorry if I took too long, Silverkit was playing around and your mother and I were catching up." He said with a pleased smile. "You seem to be doing better." He meowed with a playful nudge.

Crowpaw
Crowpaw stared at him blankly. Catching up? Okay? "I am?" she said confused. "I don't feel any different. And I'm acting the same as always. What seems different?" the she-cat asked, curious and concerned. He was happy. Yup, definitely happy. How could a cat be so happy. It was weird. Crowpaw thought he smiled too much, even though his smiles were warm and relaxing and made her feel better, she was worried his face would get stuck like that. Or he'd hurt his face.

Dawnsun
Dawnsun dipped her head to the medicine cats before turning around and exiting the den. She padded across to the warrior's den and sat outside it. Licking a paw, she looked around camp. Maybe some cats would like to go on the sundown patrol with her.

Sundapple
Sundapple laughed at the tom's story. "Remind me never to trust you with directions." She chuckled as she continued to eat her squirrel slowly. "I may ask an apprentice to refresh my bedding tomorrow, it's getting uncomfortable." She mewed, shuffling in her nest.

Smokestep
Smokestep entered camp with two squirrels and a blackbird. He placed them on the freshkill pile before turning to Mosstail and nodding. "No problem." He mewed shortly before sitting down and grooming his ruffled fur.

Wolfpaw
Wolfpaw was relieved and fell limp when Boulderstar took him out of the water. He dug his claws into the bank as it felt he was still being tugged. He was dripping wet and the wind on his sodden fur made it feel like ice. The apprentice shook his fur and it fluffed out, making him look three times his size, and he groomed it flat before looking at Boulderstar. "Yeah, I think that's the best idea."

Jaggedtail
Jaggedtail nodded his head and then lowered it on his front paws. "That's probably for the best." He meowed. "My bedding can last a bit longer, I am just going to sleep." He said in his normal tired and crackling voice.

Darkestrike
"Yes, catching up. You know, taking about recent events and interests." Darkstrike was taken aback by her question, "Well, when you walked in I could see that you were about to smile." He meowed and began to clean one paw. "If you ask me, I think that that was one step closer to getting your paws back in the forest." He meowed. To him, it wasn't the wounds that concerned him, it was more her mental state. He tried not to worry about the possibility if Crowpaw would never feel the same happiness than she did before.

Boulderstar

Boulderstar smiled, "Great job. I'm very proud of you for conquering one of your fears", he purred to Wolfpaw. Boulderstar got up and started heading back to camp, making sure Wolfpaw was behind him.

Mosstail

Mosstail chose a mouse from the fresh kill pile and sat by the leader's den to eat.

Ravenpaw

After catching about three fish, Ravenpaw decided to head back to camp, or he'd no longer be able to carry the fish back to camp. Ravenpaw got up and carefully picked up the slimy bodies of the fish. The tom headed back towards camp. Once in camp, he stacked the fish on the fresh kill pile and headed over to a corner of camp to groom his fur.

Riverpaw

Riverpaw let out a small sigh of relief as she heard Darkstrike enter the medicine den. She went over to the squirrel Dawnsun had left and carried it over to her nest. Riverpaw began nibbling on the prey, making sure to save half of it for Brightfern.

Blossomfur

Blossomfur looked at Hazelbreeze for a moment before answering, "Well, in the end...it's always going to be Boulderstar's decision", she meowed, choosing her words carefully. Blossomfur looked away, as if she was looking at something far off in the distance. Blossomfur stayed quiet, she was no longer focused on the conversation.

Charlie

Charlie sat up after grooming his fur and padded over to the fresh kill pile. He chose a fish that he noticed Ravenpaw had left and stalked back over to where he was sitting. Charlie dipped his head and took a bite out of his prey.

Dawnsun
Noticing Mosstail, Dawnsun padded across. "Hey Mosstail! Wanna come on the sundown patrol with me? Maybe we could ask Charlie to come too.. And maybe an apprentice if they want to." She mewed, glancing at Charlie who was eating across camp.

Sundapple
Sundapple yawned at the mention of a nap. "I'm quite tired myself actually," she admitted, curling up and tucking her paws under her chest "I think I'll take a nap too, while that bird is quiet." She mewed with a chuckle.

Smokestep
Smokestep entered camp with two squirrels and a blackbird. He placed them on the freshkill pile before turning to Mosstail and nodding. "No problem." He mewed shortly before sitting down and grooming his ruffled fur.

Wolfpaw
Wolfpaw looked at Boulderstar doubtfully. "I don't think I've overcome it. I just think I've fought back for once." He puffed out his chest fur with pride as he followed his leader back to camp.

Crowpaw's ears drooped. "I am very sorry. I do not know what had come over me. Smiling isn't in my personality so I do not know why that happened. I apologize." she said, now concerned for herself. Why did she let herself do that? She found that if there was nothing to be happy about, smiling was a pointless exercise. So why?

Jaggedtail
Jaggedtail smiled and nodded. He curled up in his nest, his tail wrapped around his muzzle.As he slowly closed his eyes, it didn't take long before he was in a deep sleep.

Brightfern

Darkstrike looked puzzled, "Why would you apologize for smiling? Your personality does not exclude smiling, so why don't you just smile?" He asked as he turned to meet her gaze, "The sooner you feel better in both ways, the sooner you will be out of here." He meowed reassuringly to the young apprentice.
