Dewstep awoke from her nest blinking her eyes a few times to clear them. She
looked toward her apprentice and smiled watching her as she worked. "Good
morning, Rainpaw." She meowed softly and smiled and stood up. The fluffy
cat shook her fur struggling to pull the little bits and pieces of moss out of
her forest of a pelt. She looked over her apprentices shoulder. "Any herbs we
need?" She questioned in her usual soothing voice and sat down awaiting her
apprentices response.

Poppypaw lifted her tired head, noticing a cat leaving the den, but struggling to
tell who it was. She yawned and sat up looking down at her brother curled up
next to her. Her eyes searched the den looking at the other sleeping apprentices.
She got up and stepped carefully around the other cats in the den and heading
out into the clearing. She sat down and breathed in deeply, taking in the clear
morning air and letting out a silent breath. She looked around the camp,
and wondered when the first dawn patrol would go out.

Eagleclaw roamed around the swampy territory looking around carefully for prey.
His paws moved through the thick muddy water and he spotted a water vole.
He crept through the swamp silently and pounced onto the vole snapping its
neck. He puffed his chest out in triumph and smiled heading back slowoly to
camp cleaning the mud off of his fur along the way. The tom padded into the
ship, and placed the prey down, and continued to clean off his pelt, which
was luckily already brown.

"Oh, good morning Dewstep." She said after turning to face her then gave a small nod "We are almost out of marigold petals and the borage leaves have gone bad so we have to get some more soon." She said with her long tail swaying as she turned back to the herbs. She sniffed at the borage leaves then scoped then up with her paw then went and disposed of them. She then padded back to where she was before "Any other herbs I should grab when I go to get more?" She asked while getting some leaves to make a small wrap for carrying the herbs she will get while she is out.

Firelily awoke with a sneeze, irritated that her dreams had been interrupted. Forcing her eyes to open she inwardly growled annoyingly at the tail that was resting on her muzzle. It was this tail's fault that she had sneezed and been awoken prematurely from her peaceful dreams. Sighing she padded her way out onto the deck, which she would never be comfortable with. She would never get used to this weird slippery material underneath her paws, no matter how many vines grew over it.

Being the very heavy sleeper that he is, Smokepaw was still in a very heavy sleep. Smokepaw was almost always late, but there was nothing he could do about it. He woke up when he woke up. In his dream Smokepaw was touching noses with a cat that no scent or color or face, just space. He was really curious about who his mentor was.
