Long, long ago, there lived a pacifist Clan called PeaceClan. The members were trained to settle things with words, not violence. Battle training was lax, therefore they were sloppy. Overtime, the warriors became bloodthirsty, due to the lack of use of their natural skills. Fights broke out, and as they were not trained, mercy was hardly possible. Cats began to die. Lionstar, the leader at the time, knew he must do something. He called the Clan together - getting them to be peaceful for more than five heartbeats to listen was difficult - and gave them the news. PeaceClan was disbanding. Cats parted ways. Broken-hearted, Lionstar took his pregnant mate Gillfeather to live in the town with Twolegs. In his dreams StarClan came to him. They told him he had made the right choice - his cats were made for fighting and would never be able to live peacefully as PeaceClan once had. They told him not to fret, that one day his descendants would cause a Clan to rise. They gave him this prophecy:
"Tensions rise and blood is shed,
Lust for anger must be fed.
War will come and leave in its wake,
a home for the winner to take.
As the sun is hidden battle will begin,
and into the forest we go again."
When Lionstar died, he joined his mate in StarClan. His warriors spread out and inhabited Harrington City. The feral cat population there is large, as PeaceClan was quite huge itself, and the cats reproduce overtime. There are less people than cats, and the humans tend to leave them alone. The cats have always been there, the cats are part of their environment - why bother them?
Lately resources have started to slim up. Cats are getting competitive. One cat, Ares, was recently given the some prophecy as his ancestor, Lionstar. He has started gathering cats to him, trying to build up his numbers. Cats are getting allies and enemies even as we speak.
What side will you choose?

Ares' TerritorySome consider him a loon, some believe him. Ares is the leader of this little pack. After receiving the prophecy, he started spreading it and gathering cats. They live in an alley, inhabiting cardboard boxes and honing their fighting skills. Ares does not have nine lives, cannot speak to StarClan of his own will, and does not have a warrior name, nor do any of his cats. They have a small triangle-shaped bit of the northern part of the city.
Rogue CovenThis large strip of city belongs to the hostile non-believers. These cats are against Ares and what he's teaching. They have banded together, and to them, it's either conform to their ways or be killed. They are skilled fighters though they don't have any actual training, and just rely on brutal, merciless fighting skills, lacking any technique. They mark their border constantly and will battle any intruders without mercy. Defiant cats beware.
Percy's Docks (Dock Cats)This is the smallest group of cats. They live peacefully, moving through leisurely through life. These cats are typically neutral - though when they're threatened, they'll fight back. When the time comes, they'll choose a side. They have no leader, and make decisions by majority vote.
Litwood BeachThe beach is uninhabited, neutral territory. During warm seasons Twolegs use it.
Litwood ForestThe forest contains a few strays due to its nice shelter, but a large coven of foxes live within its bounds, and any cats wishing to live there would be in constant competition with them.
