Rosepaw - tom - apprentice - tagged: leaving Asterpaw, approaching Stoatwhisker
Rosepaw jumped to his paws. "Well, they are!" he meowed loudly. "Don't you have training to do?" spotting Stoatwhisker, he turned away from Asterpaw. "I know I do!" he snapped over his shoulder, padding toward Stoatwhisker and trying to look eager. He wasn't eager, as Fleetwind had told him only the previous night that he wasn't improving at all, but he knew she wanted him to try harder, so he tried to put on a good face. "What are we doing today?" he mewed, his tail in the air with enthusiasm he didn't genuinely feel.

((After this Rosepaw went out on patrol. Also, Smokestep is waiting for Lochsong so they can do Lionpaw's final warrior assessment, though in the meantime Lionpaw's chatting with Rainpaw, I think.))

Brambletail
Brambletail climbed to his paws and looked at Fleetwind, turning his head to lick the few scratches on his back. Glaring at the bird, he mewed. "I'm Brambletail now." Before the fight broke out. As Fleetwind explained, he kept silent, just nodding along.

Ferngaze
Ferngaze let out a sigh as he accepted her apology. "Thanks Brambletail." She meowed before watching him leave. "Oh, bye!" She called after him before stretching and grooming her black and white fur.

Cloudpaw
Cloudpaw shook his head. "I haven't seen him at all today." He mewed before looking up at Smokestep then back at Rainpaw. "See ya!" He winked with a smile, watching her bound away.

Rainpaw
Rainpaw nodded. "Yeah, what name are you hoping to get?" She asked, her ear twitching involuntarily.

Asterpaw narrowed his eyes. "Raggedstar!" he called as he turned and headed towards the leader. "Can I speak with you in private?" he asked after bowing his head respectfully.

Lochsong trotted out of the dirtplace and over to Smokestep. "Sorry," she meowed. "Shall we go?"

Fleetwind - she-cat - warrior - tagged: Bailey/Snowpaw, Leopardheart, Brambletail
Fleetwind stood beside Brambletail. "Are you badly hurt?" she asked concernedly, looking at the scratches he had. "We really need to warn Raggedstar in case that thing decides to follow Snowpaw home." She spoke a little softer, not wanting to offend Snowpaw, but she didn't trust the bird that had outright attacked before they got any sort of explanation of any kind.

Smokestep - she-cat - deputy - tagged: Lochsong, Lionpaw
"Not a problem, Lochsong." Smokestep mewed cheerfully. "Come on, Lionpaw, it's time to get going. Lochsong, you should run the assessment, and I'll just watch to provide a second opinion." Smokestep stretched for a moment, then stood ready, looking at Lochsong.

Brambletail
Brambletail looked at Fleetwind, slightly flattered that she'd asked if he was okay. "It's nothing, I'll be fine." He reassured her, casting a glance at the scratches. Blood was trickling down his flank from them and they stung, but they should be fine. "You're right." The tom agreed. I don't trust that bird. The warrior added silently in his head.

Rainpaw
Rainpaw looked at Smokestep and Lochsong before sighing quietly. She looked at Lionpaw and just smiled. "Good luck." The apprentice mewed before turning and sitting down outside the apprentice's den.

Lochsong nodded. "Let's go Lionpaw. We'll start with hunting and then move onto fighting," she explained as she led the way out of camp. The ruddy warrior's pelt blended in with the undergrowth, a trait for which she was thankful.

Asterpaw narrowed his eyes. "Raggedstar!" he called as he turned and headed towards the leader. "Can I speak with you in private?" he asked after bowing his head respectfully.

Raggedstar gave up his hunt for Thunderpaw and turned to Asterpaw. "Sure," he meowed and padded over to an empty space where no cat was around, as most cats were on patrol. He beckoned to Asterpaw. "What do you need?" He asked as he sat down across from the apprentice.

Asterpaw was frowning. "It's Rosepaw," he meowed quietly. "He's covered in scratches again. This is the third time this quarter moon. He says that they're from a thorns, but Raggedstar I'm a medicine cat in training I know my wounds," he explained. The worry was evident in the tom's voice. "And his are clearly from claws."

Raggedstar frowned. "That's not good," he meowed. "They have to be from a cat. He wouldn't hide wounds like that if it weren't. But the question is: who would attack him constantly and why would he hide it?" Concern passed over his face.
