Bramblewhisker nodded to Juniperfrost, padding out of the camp. "Sparrowpaw, try to scent anything. He whispered softly to his apprentice. He parted his jaws, trying to pick up a scent for something as well, catching a few traces of vole and mice. When he found a vole, he was right about to attack, but then he tripped over a root when he was pouncing. "Foxdung!" He cursed in a snarled voice, his pale green eyes flashing with anguish. "All this chaos is catching up to me, He mewed to the rest of his patrol, his head bowed.

She maked a quick glance toward blueheart, before followed the Coyotefur to begin his patrol.

His head and eyes ached, his sight completely disappeared for a while, but luckily it was restored. Shaking his head, he took a moment to rest.

Fernstar looked at Bearpelt and nodded. "Of course, but take Threeleg and I would like to come too." She mewed before turning to Torrentheart. "He was a hard worker, concentrating all the time. When I was a 'paw, I found him quite boring, but as I grew I found his company comforting." The leader explained, rising to her paws. "He helped the Clan through many tough times." The tabby fæ sighed. She looked at Bearpelt and nodded. "We shall head off." She mewed, looking at the body and flicking her tail across Threeleg's flank.


Threeleg looked over at Foxstripe, gratitude glittering in his green eyes for half a heartbeat before it shrouded again with sadness and grief. "Thank you Foxstripe," he mewed, pushing his muzzle briefly to her shoulder before looking at Fernstar. "Ready when you are."


Juniperfrost chuckled slightly to herself at Bramblewhisker's miss. She flicked her tail across his side and smiled. "We all have our days." She giggled.


Sparrowpaw looked at Bramblewhisker and raised his head, taking a breath. "I smell vー" His response was cut short as Bramblewhisker attempted to catch a vole. The tom glanced at Juniperfrost as she joked along with it, and could almost feel her compassion for him crackling in the air like greenleaf lightning. She's a mousebrain, he thought quietly to himself. She should just say.


Aquilo nodded. "I've heard of him, yes, I heard he was exiled from the Clan for something terrible, but is convinced he didn't do anything." The loner had heard many of these tales from brief meetings with his sister.


Bone's eyes flashed with interest and slight happiness before settling with concern. What if she was worried about it? "Who did you kill?" He asked coolly, as if it were something she did all the time.

Foxstripe purred softly, feeling Threeleg's touch. She laid her head on her paws, watching the cats who were closest to Snakemint carry him off, her pale amber eyes dull with pain and grief. She looked at the fresh-kill pile, knowing she hadn't eaten in a day or too, but it looked so unappealing to her at that moment.

Bramblewhisker nodded to Juniperfrost, his pale green eyes playful. "Its true. He ruffled out his light tabby pelt, searching for more prey. He saw a squirrel, scuffling around the leaves like the whole world was in a good mood. He unsheathed his long, sharp claws, ready to attack. He bunched up his muscles, which he had plenty of, and shot himself out of his pounce and onto the squirrel. It had no time to move, and he used his long fangs to sink into its neck. Luckily, his strength was only used for battling, hunting, and protection. He was very kind and soft though, but you could only tell if you truly knew the large tabby. Swelling with pride, he carried the squirrel to the others. "Good, I've redeemed myself!" He purred.


(Ya, the love triangles are big with my cats! Foxstripe likes Threeleg, but Addertooth likes Foxstripe. And Brambleclaw likes Fernstar, but Juniperfrost and Fallowstream like him. AHHH jk I like drama. )

Juniperfrost purred before sniffing the air herself. She smelt mouse, but it seemed as though Sparrowpaw had too because he was creeping toward it. "Well done!" She purred as he returned with the limp creature in his jaws.


Sparrowpaw looked at Bramblewhisker with a playful smile before smelling mouse. Ready to impress his mentor and Hailpaw, he crouched and crept toward the tiny creature. The young tom then pounced, grabbing the mouse in his jaws and clawing its back gently. He stood up triumphantly, padding across to the others with the mouse in his jaws.

Bone was surprised. His eyes glittered and he curled his tail in amusement as she began bouncing around. "That means that worthless old Threeleg will be taking over and even a mouse could send him to StarClan!" He mewed excitedly before looking at Shadowpaw. "We also need to get rid of Fernstar, which is a bit trickier."

Jay sat on a damp log, snoozing as the moon started to fall across Silverpelt. He opened one of his weary eyes as a mouse darted past him. He automatically sprung to life and pounded after it with swift paw movements.
