{It's okay!}
Dragonfly drifted lazily around the ocean, eyes on the sun flitting through the water above. She was thinking about the other dragons. Often she'd heard them say her name and then utter something about a prophecy, but they'd fall silent as soon as soon as she swam into the room. "I wish they'd let me go to the surface..." She thought, her stripes glowing calmly. The older seawings had never let her leave the ocean- was it how she looked? Her main scales were aquamarine, like other seawings, but her underscales and secondary scales were a pale, ice blue. Her tail came to a whip-thin end with pale blue barbs on it, and she had some sharp icicle like barbs coming from the back of her head that stopped at the top of her neck. She wasn't that weird, was she?
The dragonet suddenly decided something. Who cares what they say? With a sudden flap of her wings, the seawing dragonet soared upwards. Her sleek head broke the surface of the water. All around her, the world was bleak, blank and bright. The sudden sunlight confused her and she found herself struggling to breath until her lungs kicked in. The ocean was calm, and it stretched into the horizon. "This can't be the surface! There must be more!" She exclaimed, then was shocked to hear her own voice for the first time. So shocked she fell below the surface before darting back up again. "W-wow..."
