Dewpaw turned to her mentor, eyes as wide as saucers. "Can Cedarpaw come along with us? He can help Snowpaw and I train! It's good to have different cats to train with,"she was on the verge of begging her mentor.

A warm smile rose onto Sunrisewing's face. "Of course!" The cream she-cat replied cheerfully, chuckling slightly. "Let's go, you two!" She said, before trotting off to the camp entrance. As she reached the forest, dapples of sunlight shone on her pelt through the leaves from the trees that towered over her. Her almost ice-blue gaze was shaded by the trees and she stopped and glanced back at Cedarpaw and Dewpaw.

"Yes, very true Fawnpaw. It was a sad day for all cats, they were kin of mine, so it bothers me a bit more," he spoke wistfully, stretching his paws in front of him. "Despite the sadness, I'm very grateful that you were the one to take over. If you are in need of restocking supply today, I'd be happy to escort you."

The small kit followed behind Echowhisker happily, excited to get out of the den.

Applestorm watched the apprentice bound away before padding across to the freshkill pile. He picked a small squirrel and sat down, eating it as he looked around the camp.


Fawnpaw nodded. "Thank you Hawkfang." She mewed before looking at Larkfeather. "I'm sure we needed more daisy leaves when I checked the stock." She reported, glancing at the small pile of daisy leaves.


Timberpaw suddenly remembered. "Oh yeah! Thanks Ivyfrost." She squeaked before pushing her nose through the den entrance. "Thymecloud?" The apprentice whispered. "Applestorm wants us to go on the dawn patrol with Wolfheart." The fae looked around for the warrior, but it was hard to see in the gloom.

Dewpaw smiled nervously as she walked next to Cedarpaw. She was glad when they finally made it to where they were going, she had nothing to say to make it less awkward.

Echopaw sniffed around,"Dewpaw's definitely left, with Cedarpaw I think. But Snowpaw's by with her, weird.

Larkfeather nodded,"Hm. I'm going to go out and look for some. There should be some by the river..." He stood up and was left the den without waiting for an amawer.

Larkfeather paused to hear the last part,"Got it! I'll be back shortly." The river wasn't very far from the camp and if he coils recall there were a few places to get yarrow nearby. He would be out and back in no time, unless he ran into his jabbering littermates who seemed bound on distracting him.

Ashkit squirmed under his mother's grasp. He opened his vivid blue eyes, and stretched his tiny white paws. The black and white kit got up slowly, looking around the room, seeing Daisyrain and her kits. He waddled clumsily towards them, wondering if they wanted to play.

"So,"she said, and whirled around to meet Cedarpaw and Dewpaw. "I think we should focus on battle training today,"Sunrisewing said, pausing. "Cedarpaw, have you learned the badger defense yet?" The cream tabby asked, tilting her head slightly.

Cloudpelt padded into the training area, fern fronds brushing against his pelt as he entered the clearing. He spotted Sunrisewing, Cedarpaw, and Dewpaw up ahead. The black and white warrior swiveled to the other direction, not wanting to disturb their lesson.
