Cookie Crumble
Cookie was ensuring her catering had been brought in and set up properly. She had barely found the time to get ready; she wore the simple green dress Gavel had supplied her with earlier, and had straightened out her mane and tail. The Earth pony finished labeling which foods had nuts and which did not, as per Golden's request. Her heart skipped a beat; all of these ponies would have access to her baking. Perhaps this would increase business at her bakery? Cookie Crumble shook her head and looked at the labels. "Just right! ... I hope."
Gavel Point
Gavel Point proudly made her way to the Gala. There was absolutely no doubt in her mind that if she were to get her desired increase in rank, she would have to show herself as the dignified and confident mare she was. Her formerly spiky mane had been curled, and her dress slightly trailed behind her; it was a bit much, but the color suited the mauve mare well. "Now, Quizzical, dear. Please do not bring up any drab talk of your novels, will you?"
Quizzical Glass
Quizzical Glass silently followed Gavel, the only sound she made being the 'mhm' she used to answer Gavel's question. Her long mane had been elegantly curled, and while her dress of varying shades of blue was not as extravagant as her sister's, it was still befitting of the event. She didn't know why Gavel was against her novels. Ponies seemed to enjoy them enough, but Quizzical came to the conclusion that for some reason, writing was not a business Gavel wished to be involved with in any way.
Stained Glass
Stained Glass had arrived already, but stood outside in wait of his sisters. He absolutely loathed the Gala, but it was a good place to get inspiration for his work. If he could at least get that out of it, the Gala was not a complete waste of time. Besides, Cookie Crumble was here, and he had to make himself seem presentable and approachable.
Quill Deadline
Quill was silently heading to the Gala. Her ear twitched in excitement, as it usually did when she thought Ink Blot might find a new story for the papers. She would have to be careful not to be caught eavesdropping, but she knew she could get some information if she simply listened for it. Now all she had to do was wait.
