Ivyfire groaned, the burdock root had broken again and now was scatter across the den. Yin? Ivyfire called still staring at the dried bits of root today or tomorrow please gather some new burdock root! Ivyfire shook her head at the mess and went to sort the dock and oak leaves.


SpruceFur

SpruceFur yawned and stretched, expecting to bump into TallFeather, yet his paw only scratched air, he suddenly perked up. Where was everyone? Had he slept in? He padded outside the den to see the sun rising up, halfway across the sky. SpruceFur jumped in panic and checked if anyone was around. Hello?

Ravenash slept silently in the very back of the den in the corner. His pelt blended into the darkness of the back of the den.

"I will do it soon" Yin called out to her mentor "I barely got any sleep." Yin wasn't balancing very good on her paws and she stumbled with every step.

Tallfeather was always an early bird and she crouched beside the warriors den, stalking up on Sprucefur. Tallfeather pounced on Sprucefur, her claws sheathed.

SpruceFur yipped and spun around hissing, then he realized it was Tallfeather and playfully hit her with his paw. Hey! You scared me! I thought a badger had snuck in and attacked me! SpruceFur laughed.

Ravenash woke from the ruckus outside the warriors den and he shoved his head into his paw, he was never one to get up when the sun rose. He liked to sleep in as long as he could. Ravenash slowly fell asleep and dreamed of him riding a fox along the horizon. Quite a strange dream I would say.

"But would a badger be that silent" Tallfeather asked, proving a point.

Ha, true. Wanna go hunting with me? SpruceFur asked TallFeather.

"Sure" Tallfeather turned around and walked towards the forest, her tail stirring up the dirt underneath it. Tallfeather wasn't very good at hunting but tried her best to hide that. Tallfeather scanned the forest in front of them, looking for prey.

SpruceFur followed scenting the air for prey, there! A fresh scent of rabbit lead into the brush. Rabiit! SpruceFur whispered and nodded towards the brush.

"You can get it while I search for different prey" Tallfeather stalked silently away.

Sprucefur nodded and spun around, chasing after the rabbit. Why had Tallfeather left to hunt on her own? He pushed away the thought and extended his claws just before he leaped into the air, leaving the ground below him
He landed perfectly on the rabbit, and killed it swiftly, without any pain.

Tallfeather decided to look for an old vole or mouse that may be blind or disabled in some sort of way so it would be easy to catch. Tallfeather saw a mouse sleeping in a small clearing That's too easy! I hope it doesn't wake up though.... Tallfeather stalked over to the mouse until she reached it. Tallfeather bit the mouse's neck and it made a snap before it could wake up. Tallfeather isn't bad at the killing part, its the finding, and being quiet part she was bad at. Tallfeather was abnormally fast so I guess she could easily catch a rabbit if it were in a large field with nothing she could trip on or run in to.
