He glanced around for his mentor. Where was she? Suddeny he saw her with Nightstripe and Icestar. He padded over and said, "Um.. Shadowwing, can you take me hunting?"

He was entranced by her beauty as Icestar came over. He accepted and asked who would take his place in the hunting patrol?

Shadowwing couldn't find Muskpaw, and she was getting quite worried. Before their hunting patrol had even started, she had failed! She wondered what she would do next, and started panicking. Maybe she would become a loner? a rogue? Or worse yet... a kitty pet! Oh Starclan, help me do something correctly for once.

When she heard Muskpaw's voice behind her, she felt relieved. "Sure, I can take you hunting in a while." she replied.
