Sandpaw watched the two apprentices, amused. Irony indeed. She smirked and turned away, taking a breath of air. "So, Featherpaw. Do you want to go and train now? Seeing as we didn't get the chance earlier." She asked, her eyes lighting up hopefully. She just wanted an excuse to get out of camp, but it would be nice to have company.

Ashpaw watched her ran away. "She doesn't understand! I can't love her any other way! I can't help it that I love Faith!" He wailed.

Bramblestorm sighed. "I know. But Ternpaw doesn't. Let her calm down. She'll understand soon enough."

Ternpaw ran until her paws couldn't run any further. She collapsed in a heap, crying to herself. How could he love her... They had practically only just met... Life wasn't fair.

Faith was about to speek when Ternpaw came. She closed her mouth, staying extremly quiet and still. But then he said it. He wailed her name. Faith couldn't help but smile a tad bit. But she had caused pain to Ternpaw. She knew how pain felt. Not good. Slowly, she raised her baby blue eyes to Ashpaw. "You love me?" her voice was so quiet, she thought that she may have to repete herself.

Ashpaw nodded. "I do." He whispered. Did she love him back. his could be really bad if something went wrong.

[LunarFaith]

Faith smiled and burried her little body in his chest. "Iv never been loved before Ashpaw" she purred softly, sadness and happyness washing over her all at the same time. "I believe I love you too. You are the first and only male to treat me as an equal" she purred softly, her nose still burried in his fur.

[Keriae]

Ashpaw purred. "I wouldn't dream of hurting you Faith. Those other cats were horrible, treating you like crowfood. If they ever come to get you, I'll protect you."

Ternpaw continued to cry, hiding herself inside the hollow trunk of a fallen tree. She knew that she had to get over it, but she didn't want to. She didn't want to think about it... Ashpaw didn't love her the way she loved him, he loved another, and she loved him back. She knew that she wouldn't be able to cope seeing him with her, even if she got a mate of her own one day...

Bramblestorm ran after her daughter, taking deep breaths, drawing in the scent of Ternpaw. She skidded to a halt when she found her. "Ternpaw, Ternpaw. It's hard for Ashpaw. He's always seen you as his sister. I don't think it's going to change. I'm sure you'll find your true other half one day." She murmered, feeling her daughter's pain. She had lived through loosing the one she loved, and she knew what it felt like.

Ternpaw looked up at her mother, wiping the tears from her face. "But mum... How will I cope with him being with her? My heart is aching already, and they've only just told eachother how they feel..." She sniffled, holding back more tears. "I don't think I could cope mum..." Slowly she shook her head, sighing.
