Bramblestorm turned around. "Ternpaw, we should go and find Ashpaw. We need to tell him." She meowed. "I'm sorry Oakpaw, but she needs to come with me."

Ashpaw chuckled. "Why would I hurt you?" He asked. "It's understadable that you were lonley. I didn't come back because of......" How to put this? "Family issues."

Oakpaw looked up, noticing for the first time that the warrior was there. He cleared his throught. "Oh, yes. Sorry." he stuttered, stepping away from Ternpaw.

Faiths eyes brightened a little "Thank you Ashpaw! You are very kind" she said gently, sitting in front of him.

Now annoyed with the apprentice, Rainkit bounded off again. She was dreadfully bored, no one minded her.

Faith sighed and looked up at him. Her baby blue eyes showed mystery and disaster. "Ashpaw... When i was a kit, my mother died. She was killed by my father, whom I never saw again, so I never had a family. Some toms would take me in, thinking I was pretty. They were all mean though, I have scars all over my body." she told him gently.

"Oh. I can see they wanted you for your body. They thought you'd have the best kits." Ashpaw muttered. "I'd never do that to you. I'm not sick."

Faith smiled "I know that now" she said gently, touching her nose to his cheak. "So, may I by informed next time you leave?" she asked, her eyes twinkling. "Why did you leave anyways?" her voice was curiouse. She knew that he had implied that she was pretty but she didn't comment. She knew that she was no such thing.

Shadowfur rose, his muscles rippling as he did so. He padded out towards the snowy forest, his paws lightly touching the ground. His long tail waved in the air, as he stopped by the almost frozen river. He looked down and saw his face. He slapped the water with a paw, cursing himself. When they were loners, females used to adore him for his looks. Shadowfur sighed. He hated that. Then he wanted a true mate, now he just wanted someone to talk to.

Ternpaw blinked at Oakpaw as he licked her, squirming away but padding calmly over to Bramblestorm when called. "Yes mother. I'm coming!" She smiled, bounding off into the forest.
