Ternpaw gulped, looking away. "I was hoping you wouldn't tell me that..." She looked back at him, putting on a smile. "So, there anyone you like in the clan?" She cocked her head, trying to not let him notice that she was gazing into his eyes.

[Keriae]

Ashpaw nodded. "Well, I think I like Sweetpaw, and Sandpaw." He addmitted.

[Solanum]

Ternpaw looked away, her ears drooping, her eyes clouded with sorrow. "Well, that's good for you... They are great cats..." She couldn't look back at him without telling him with her eyes exactly how she felt...

[Keriae]

Ashpaw looked at her. "Ternpaw, are you okay?" She seemed upset. He sat down and licked her cheek. "Don't cry."

[Solanum]

Ternpaw shook herself, sorting herself out, but still a tear trickled down her cheek. "Well... Ashpaw... I have to tell you. I think I'm in love with you. Not family love, but proper love. But I know that it is wrong to love your brother in that way, so..." She shrugged, backing away from him slightly, her eyes firmly set on the ground by her paws. She couldn't look him in the eyes after telling him that...

[Keriae]

Ashpaw stood back, confused. He shook his head. His sister couldn't love him like that! They were littermates! He turned and raced away, disappearing into the forest. He didn't care about his pelt getting messy. He just wanted to get away from his sister.

[Solanum]

"Follow my heart... Why did I bother..." She sighed, tears falling off her face onto the ground. Silently she turned and padded back to camp, sitting on the edge as she wanted to be alone but at the same time feel that she didn't have to run. She knew that she would be missed if she ran away, and she herself wouldn't be able to keep herself away...

Bramblestorm saw her daughter crying, so she padded over. "Ternpaw, why are you crying? Shouldn't you be hunting?" She asked, sitting beside her.

[Solanum]

Ternpaw shook her head. "I just used hunting as an excuse to talk to Ashpaw alone..." She buried her face in Bramblestorm's fur, whimpering loudly although it was muffled by her mother's fur. "I told him that I had certain feelings for him, even though I know it isn't right, us being brother and sister an 'all." She sighed and looked up at her mother. "He ran off... What should I do?"

[Keriae]

"Wait. You told him you love him?" Bramblestorm asked. Great StarClan! I need to tell her the truth."Ternpaw, it doesn't matter, because Ashpaw isn't your real brother."
