Lionfang suddenly jerked up, his heart pounding against his chest. He had to tell her. His sun-yellow legs streched out into a run, his brown eyes glassy from tears.His nose sniffed the air, scenting Kitewing. He raced onward, finally spotting out her pelt in the darkness. "Kitewing!"He cried out, galloping up to her. "I'm sorry..I really am."His brown eyes scearched hers. "I'm sorry..just what happened back there, too many.....horrible....memories. Its stupid. Please forgive me."Lionfang's yellow paw laied on top of Kitewing's. "Please forgive me." He repeated,"Because.......Well Kitewing...I don't want to let you out of my life...because,......because I love you."

Kite looked into Lionfang's eyes, her eyes dull and lifeless. "But do you love me, or her... Lionfang, I have to know." She sighed, shaking her head. "I'm sorry... The truth is, that you hurt me so much when you made me believe that you only liked me for someone I looked like. It broke my heart because I love you too, I have for a long time now..."

"Kitewing....I only love you."Lionfang lifted her chin with his muzzle. "Its not your looks...its not your voice...none of that. I truely...love you. For yourself. You changed me."Lionfang sighed. "I thought every female was the same. You think they love you, and boom, your just being used. I was afriad...for a while.....until I saw you. Kite blushed, her eyes straying to her paws. "But why me? You're handsome and smart, a great hunter and fighter... And I'm nobody. What's so special about me?" She sighed, looking back into his eyes.

Icepath lingered in the middle of camp, uneasy, hurt, and ashamed of himself. Slowly, he inched towards Bramblestorm. "A-Are you o-okay...?" He mumbled a bit, his head low. He really wasn't sure what to think.

Bramblestorm turned away, not looking at him. She was angry with him, and with herself.

Icepath sighed a bit, hating himself now. "Bramblestorm... I know you probably hate me at this point. I... I should have seen that Catmint, and I should have thought about Mistclaw before anything happened. I know I did wrong, and I dont expect you even want to look at me. But do you think this is any easier on me? I just found out that the she-cat I love loves me back, then we get back to camp and I find that it was all because of some catmint." His voice was shaky and slow, hurt and apologetic.

Lionfang's lips curled into a small laugh. "Handsome? Smart? Great hunter and fighter? Are you sure your talking about me? Not your dream mate or something?"He chuckled, shaking his head. "I'm none of that."Frowning again, he nuzzled Kite softly. "Your not a nobody...to me your a somebody...the best female in the Clan. Whats so special?"Lionfang frowned deeper. "Kitewing, what is there not to like about you? Your the one that every tom dreams of."

Kite smirked at him, chuckling softly. "I know I'm being a real hypocrite but you shouldn't doubt yourself. You are all those things, just believe you are." She knew she was talking about herself as well, but she trully didn't believe she was all that special. "Well, now that we both know the truth about our feelings towards eachother, what do you want to do?"
