Brux: He lazily got up when he realized the others were leaving without him, he followed after some of the others, hoping for someone to talk to.
Leslie: She smiled when she saw the Absol with her food, "Well I'll be!" She chuckled a bit, "You're up early!"

[Balsam]

River and Blaise
River, in her hurry to get away from the obnoxious Monferno, came up to Brux; she sighed but, finding she much preferred his presence to that of the fire monkey behind her, gave him a small smile. "Hey, Brux. Isn't this a nice sight, seeing you up this early?"

Blaise stopped behind her, looking shocked at having had heard the Greninja strike up a conversation.

[guh-huh!]

Brux: He smiled, rubbing the back of his neck. "Yeah," He spoke, "I thought I'd see what you guys were up to. Plus, if those Greenlake Dweebs came, I'd want to be with ya to crush 'em."

[Balsam]

River and Blaise
"Ah. Well, it's probably better to go find someone else," River sighed, shaking her head. "I mean unless you want to tag along on an aimless quest as Blaise the baboon flirts aimlessly with every female creature he sees."

Blaise huffed indignantly, the flame on his tail blaring. "River, I would never! After all..." He calmed down as he said, "the only one I want is y-" Blaise found himself cut off as a Hydro Pump was directed straight at him by an irritated River, knocking him over flat.

[Dragonic]

Chili just continued to follow the river, before jumping in the water after a while and letting out a cry that meant that he wanted fellow Kabutops to come to him. The Genesect always let out the cry anytime he feels lonely to see if his mate will cry back, but no luck, at least not right now. The Kabutops-turned-Genesect just sighed before starting to swim downstream, feeling at home in the water.

[Balsam]

Estella and Sapphire
Estella blinked as Sapphire jumped down from the rock. "Sapphire," she said, sounding confused and a bit worried. "Whatever is the matter?"

Sapphire looked over at her. "I-I dunno... I kinda just wanna go get some water from somewhere..."

(Yup! Chili has been open; he just really wishes that his Kabutops mate is around, or just a Kabutops in general, but he's open for interaction.)

[guh-huh!]

Brux: He laughed at the Monferno's attempts. "Yeah you're right." He snarled, "I can watch him get turned down any day." He was about to continue until he heard the cry of a Genesect. He growled, "It's too early for all this noise."

[Balsam]

(Okay! ^^ I'd try to come up with a way for the Kabutops mate to be there, since I think coming up with an explanation would be a difficult yet fun challenge, but unfortunately I filled up my six character limit ^^; So I need someone for Estella and Sapphire to interact with, and since they're loners like Chili, I thought that'd be the most logical choice.

Estella and Sapphire
Estella got up and begrudgingly left her shaded spot. "Let's head down to the river, then," she said, heading off towards the river.

Sapphire quietly followed her, not sure of what to say. The walk to the river was long and silent, and the two soon sat down beside the river.

River
River nodded in agreement. "That was part of the reason I had decided to head out. Get some rest in a cool, shady, and quiet spot But hey, I'm glad this happened," she looked down at the Monferno, whose swirl-eyed expression let it be known he had fainted. "Got Blaise off my tail for now."
