Tawny's eyes fluttered open her paw was wrapped with cobwebs, and it smelled like herbs, and it felt better. Tawny looked over to Wolfpaw, "I am so hungry," she groaned, but the good thing was that her paw felt a lot better than it was, but it still hurt badly.

By the time Tawny had awoken, Wolfpaw had finished the small mouse and was crunching down on its small bones. The male snapped his attention back to his patient when he heard her voice and began to stand up and padded over to her. "I'll get you some food. I'll be right back, I have to ask some cats since I assume you still drink milk for being around two moons old." The medicine cat apprentice informed the young she kit before giving her a comforting lick and padded out of the den and into the nursery. When the young cat entered, he just hoped these queens wouldn't joke around with him thanks for him still looking like a kit himself, well, a overgrown kit. "I hope you don't mind me interrupting you ladies but I have a favor to ask permission of from you."

Raveneye looked at Wolfpaw. "What is it?" She asked gently.

The male cleared his throat seeming to get a bit panicked. Wolfpaw did have a bit of social anxiety but it only affected him in asking favors from other cats. He stood there for a bit looking to the side thinking about what he would say and how he would say it. After some seconds, the white and gray single patched male turned back to the queens and meowed, "I found a kit injured and starving while I was uh, yes collecting herbs. I have her on the path to recovering full health but now I'm struggling with food. She's only two moons old, still can only drink milk at the age. I obviously can't uh, give her any so I was uh, right I was going to ask if any of you queens could feed the she kit until she is ready to start eating meat?" Wolfpaw obviously studdered in his request since he lost confidence in some parts as he spoke. He just hoped one of the she cats would agree to feeding his patient. If not, he didn't know what he would have to do. He would have to start feeding Tawny meat and he knew she wasn't ready for it.

"Of course I'll help." The queen purred. Raveneye looked at her kits. "Will I need to go to the she-kit or will you bring her to me?" She asked. She felt a little uncomfortable aaking thigs like this.

"I'll bring her to you. I'll be right back and thank you Raveneye!" He meowed giving the queen a friendly smile and padded out and back into the medicine cats den to fetch Tawny. Wolfpaw padded up to the kit and grabbed her scruff, lifting her up gently. "I got you some food. A very nice she cat is willing to give you some milk." He meowed, slightly muffled due to carrying the she kit. After finishing his statement, the small male padded back out and into the nursery. He approached Raveneye and set Tawny down beside her stomach so the she kit could feed. Wolfpaw didn't know why but he felt very overprotective over Tawny, just like a mother to her kit. Guess he would be quite close to the kit he found when the moons pass on.

Raveneye watched. She purred softly. It was a nice kit. "Tawnykit." She murmured. "That'll be a great name."

"Funny you choice you picked for the prefix. This kits name is Tawny so that would be the best name for her." Wolfpaw chuckled before he laid down still watching over the she kit. He probably looked quite strange being so protective over the kit. Once he would find out, he would just again hoped he wouldn't get made fun of being to caring and motherly over Tawny.
