Dapplepaw tried again, this time using her jaws. She waited until the school swam back, and then tried biting one, making sure that her shadow kept on land. She touched it for a second, but it slipped out of her grasp. She tried this a few more times, but she could never catch one.

"Don't worry. You'll get it eventually," Birchfoot meowed encouragingly.

Dapplepaw sighed. "I hope so." She meowed with a tone of annoyance.

Birchfoot smiled, and he nudged her. "Don't worry. Come, let's go train."

"Okay!" She smiled and tried to cheer up as she started padding over to the training clearing.

Birchfoot raced after her, smiling.
