Nightslash looked around "I prefer fish...but whatever." She said stalking a rabbit.

Shadowpaw watched thistlefur, hoping she would learn something

Thistlefur nods. "We'll go to the river after this, and get some fish for you," he meows. Thistlefur crouches, and pads forward very quietly. He spotted a finch 10 yards away. He stalks it, and eventually leaps, just as it lifted off the ground. He nips it on the neck, killing it.

Otterpaw jolted awake at the pattering of paws swishing by the long grass of the prarie, the whispers of her returning clanmates carried along by the cool breeze. Shivering, the small tabby leapt to her paws with an excited air, blue eyes glowing as she bounded into the starlit clearing. "You're back! What happened at the Gathering?" She called, tilting her head at the crowd of cats. She felt rather jittery from the wait, and reckoned that sleeping tonight would be rather difficult. "Any trouble?"

Nightslash pounced on the rabbit, but... Missed. Her eyes twitched "WHAT. I'm normally epic at catching rabbits!"
She hissed

Shadowpaw tilted her head "epic?"

Nightslash smiled "it's a human thing....."

Featherpaw greeted Otterpaw. "Hi, Otterpaw! Ripplestar reported dogs on her territory.." she meows, slightly frightened.

Thistlefur snickers as Shadowpaw questioned the word epic. After all, once, when he was an apprentice, he had to run through the open doors of a human nest, and heard one of the small ones scream 'epic' when they saw him. The small one with long hair on the top of it's head tried to grab him, but he escaped.

Shadowpaw looked at thistlefur, tilting her head

Nightslash pounced on a rabbit and quickly bit it's neck "I got one!" She laughed "finally!"

Thistlefur looks at Shadowpaw. "Shadowpaw, do what I did when I caught this finch," he suggests.

shadowpaw nodded and looked around finally spotting a finch. She slowly stalked it, staying as silent as possible.. As she got closer the finch started to become alarmed, just then shadowpaw leaped onto the finch and nips it's neck "I DID IT" she smiled "yay!!!"

Thistlefur nods. "Perfection!" he praised, and touched his nose to her's.

Shadowpaw purred with a smiling face. She was proud.
