Lavenderheart was sitting at the camp entrance. She was guarding, and had her apprentice by her. "Oakpaw, would you fetch me a mouse from the freshkill pile?" she asks. Oakpaw nods, and darts over to the pile, and brings back a mouse. She thanks him, and decided to share it with him. Once she finished, she sniffed the air. Her fur was on end.. she was worried.

Finchfeather glanced at Thistlefur, noticing his anger. He flicked him with his tail, giving him a meaningful look. Even if it was because of the dogs, he shouldn't look so angry at a gathering. The last thing the Deputy wanted was to provoke the other clans.

Oakpaw yawned, and was happy when Lavenderheart dismissed him. He padded to the apprentice den, but couldn't fall asleep. So wearily, he crept out of the camp, being extremely quiet.

Breezefur nuzzled Shadowheart, and she purrs. "Want to hunt?" she asks, smiling.
