Cinder decides to stop taking about the Moonclan leader, noticing her father tense at Moonstar's name. "So, why couldn't you have gone and did my part, while I sat in the sidelines and watched?"

"We help the Darkforest rise. Moonstar," Ice's voice almost cracked but he made himself go on, "Moonstar is a mess. If you can we will be much stronger we will have a clan behind us." He could see Shadowfrost nodding slowly and he almost purred. She would help them. She would betray her clan.
