She suddenly turned her attention away from Forest, "I've been considering this for a while, brothers. I know the Shadow Pack has been here for as long as the rest of us," her eyes narrowed, "but wouldn't it make more sense to rise up together and run Forest - and his thieving mutts - out?"

"No!" howled the male, suddenly standing up and slamming a paw onto the ground. "We're here to discuss how we plan to prosper, not to start a war!" snarled Mammoth. "And when have you ever considered us brothers or sisters of yourself? You're just trying to appease us. But it won't work on the Water Pack."

She clenched her teeth against a snarl, squaring up to the larger male. Sure enough, knowing she wasn't getting anywhere with her statement, she gave a snort, and backed off, lying down with her front legs crossed, and growling, "You all need to have more backbone. One of the weaker Packs is going to have to go, sooner or later...one way or another."
