Brightpaw snored softly, her chest rising and falling as she slept. The young apprentice didn't dream that night, but something odd did haunt her, something she had never seen before. The apprentice bolted upright, her hairs sticking up in fear. Brightpaw glanced around frantically, then let out a breath of relief; there was no danger here. She paddedout of the apprentice's den after giving her fur a quick clean, her heart skipping a beat as she saw Pebblefur, sitting outside. "Pebblefur!" She exclaimed, her eyes bright with relief.

She smiled weakly at the apprentice. "Hey Brightpaw."

Brightpaw bounded over, brushing up against the Warrior's side, careful to avoid her wounds. "Thank Starclan you're okay," she purred. "I was so worried."

She smiled weakly. "I'm okay... For now..." She mumbled the last part.

She hears pebblefur and rushes out of her den."Pebblefur how are you doing?"

She shrugged. "Well I'm alive. And not that painful. Has anyone seen Creamfur or Quickstrike?"

She nods a thank you and stands weakly, padding over to the she-cat. She sat down behind her and purred. "Hey."
