She stopped bleeding after a moment and her breathing went back to normal although she was still unconscious.

Appleblaze watched her sister and lies down a few tail-lengths away from her. She hopes that Pebblefur will be okay and doesn't go to Starclan.

Brightpaw watched, horrified, as Pebblefur became unconscious. "Pebblefur!" She called, and Appleblaze was soon at her side. She stood there, her eyes wide, her fur on end. "Pebblefur..." She meowed, her voice cracking as she laid down beside Appleblaze.

Appleblaze licked the apprentice "She is going to be okay" she says in a steady voice but the fear in her eyes had almost gave her away.

Brightpaw whimpered, staring at the bloodied warrior. "Featherfrost isn't here..." She meowed. "What if we can't help Pebblefur? What if we can't do it alone?"

Finchfeather laid beside Featherfrost, curled around her and their newborn kits. Their pelts were fluffed up, soft, just as a kitten's should be. "It's time," he meowed, his voice quiet. "We can't stay here forever."

"We can try if we need help quickly rush over to Featherfrost and ask what to do" she tells Brightpaw.

Pebblefur
Her ear flicked as she lied unconscious, covered in blood, in the med cat den.

Brightpaw nods, reaping her head on her paws. "I guess so," she mews quietly, but she didn't quite believe her words. They didn't even know where Featherfrost was, and she could be anywhere. When Pebblefur's ear twitched, Brightpaw gasped, squirming a bit closer. "Pebblefur?" She meowed, hoping that the warrior had woken.

She went still again, still unconscious.

The light in Brightpaw's eyes died once more as she slunk back into place. She had hoped that Pebblefur was waking, but she was wrong.
