Whisperpool's attention was drawn to the patrol. Their idea for getting rid of the badgers was risky, but possible. She pointed with her tail to where the cats where heading. "Look," she mewed. "Will they make it?"

Littleivy looked at Whisperpool then down at the patrol. She looked at the river, then the cats, then the badgers, understanding their plan instantly. "They will, we will watch them and help them in any way we can, but I'm sure they will." She meowed, glancing at the cats, and Shadowthorn. The black tom's destiny twisted in ways she couldn't yet explain and his fate was shrouded in shadow.

Hollybreeze's eyes widened at the sight of Briarpaw struggling. She was about to jump in when Emberstreak got there first. Once Briarpaw was back on the bank, she stared at her expectantly, waiting for her to wake up.

Shadowthorn rolled his eyes as Briarpaw struggled. He didn't even make an attempt to save the apprentice and just sat, watching the others rescue her. He tried to look like he cared by widening his eyes, but he couldn't really care whether the apprentice died or not.

Shiverpaw looked at Thicketpaw, eyes glittering with triumph and mischief. "Ha! Shiver wins! Gotta try a little harder next time Thicketstar!" He mewed playfully, giving his best friend a nudge on the shoulder.

Briarpaw felt teeth meet with her scruff just before she felt light headed. The apprentice felt her head break above the surface of the water and her body come in contact with land. Her eyes flung open and she coughed up what felt like a river of water. Briarpaw lay, trembling on the ground as the cold gripped her limbs and made her breathing uneasy.

Blindwhisker stood up after it seemed no cat was coming to help her up. The blind elder used her whiskers to feel around, carefully putting one paw in front of the other. She banged into the wall once before sitting down outside, grooming her fur as if nothing had happened.

Alaska|Fæ|Kittypet|No Crush|Tagged ~ Sunfall

Alaska was about to ask where the training hollow was but she ran away. "Frostfur... Nice name." She mewed to herself before bounding in the opposite direction. The white fæ thought that she might as well go looking for it now while she was out. Crawling through the undergrowth, she kept her eyes open for any sight of a hollow. It could take all day to find it, but she didn't care.

[I forgot to mention that Blindwhisker is blind and often needs help from other warriors.
And so the prophecy begins (=ﾟωﾟ)ﾉ
And Shadowthorn has no crush now.]

Emberstreak: She smiled when Briarpaw awoke, her heart slowing down substantially from the prior event. "I'm so glad you're okay." She said with a purr, her eyes shifting over slightly to the others. "But on any other mission, please hold true to your task." Her eyes meeting firmly with Briarpaw's. "What you did was brave, but we all must follow instructions for a plan to work." She didn't want to call Briarpaw out on it, but it had to be learned as soon as possible for the apprentice not to get in further trouble. She nodded to the other two, "Let's head back; we've done our mission."

Thicketpaw: He smiled, "You're on!" He then noticed a small grumbling noise from his stomach, all this hunting was making him hungry. He rolled his eyes, "Alright, you're on after I have a snack."

Echostar:
After Stormwhisker left, she went off to grab a snack and found Sunfall, along with Shiverpaw, Thicketpaw, and Stormwhisker trailing behind. The two bouncy apprentices dropped off their stack of prey before getting one them selves. She trotted over to them. "How was training?" She asked the two.

Stormwhisker:
"What were you doing Sunfall?" He asked Sunfall on their way back to camp. "You were supposed to supervise them, where did you go off to?"

[AGGUA!]

"I was doing a perimeter check!" Sunfall snapped. "They aren't kits! They can handle themselves, for Starclan's sake!" What has his fur ruffled the wrong way? she wondered. He was being so... envasive. Like it was literally life or death if she didn't tell him what she had been up to. Stupid deputy. She knew she would be ten times better than him and Echostar combined.

(btw guys i have a volleyball game tomorrow so i probably wont be on until much later!)

Hollybreeze let out a relieved sigh as Briarpaw regained consciousness. "I'm not sure she will be able to walk all the way back to camp." She mewed, looking at Briarpaw's trembling state.

Shadowthorn looked at Briarpaw before glancing at Hollybreeze. "I can lead the way, you two watch Briarpaw." He meowed, rising to his paws and padding down the stream to find the stepping stones.

Shiverpaw dropped his prey on the pile before taking one for himself. As Echostar came over, he dropped his meal and dipped his head to her. "It was great Echostar! We did battle training early in the morning then hunted everything later on."

Briarpaw looked at Emberstreak and nodded. "S-sorry." She stammered, her body trembling with cold.

"Echostar?" Sunfall said bitterly. "Could I possibly talk to you?" She flicked her tail and crept into the leader's den, not caring whether or not she had been officially invited. "Why did it take Stormwhisker so long to eat something? We were done training before he even bothered to show up. And now he's nagging me about doing a perimeter check when I told Thicketpaw and Shiverpaw to go hunting, just because I ran off." And if you side with him, I might as well kill you without Shadowthorn telling me to do so. That's one way to do it.

[guh-huh!]

Thicketpaw: He stopped his mouth from watering and pipped up, "Yeah! It was really fun! Stormwhisker and Sunfall are great mentors." He said, then plopped himself down on the camp grounds to enjoy a small canary.

Emberstreak: She quickly nodded back to Shadowthorn, he was quite a trusted warrior to her. She smiled at Briarpaw, her lecture was over, the main focus was getting them back to camp. Emberstreak sighed softly, taking a spot next to Briarpaw's cold body, letting the two share body heat.

Echostar:
"Well, you were supposed to keep an eye on the apprentices, not to check the perimeter," she mewed. "But I do see your point. I'll go talk to Stormwhisker afterwards. For now, after nearly a whole day of training and hunting, I presume you want a snack at least?"

Stormwhisker:
He watched Echostar and Sunfall head to the leaders den to talk before going back to his apprentice Thicketpaw. "I'm quite impressed at how well you hunted even though I wasn't there," he said. "I pretty much sure you may even be able to be a warrior soon." "So will you." he said after seeing the crestfallen face of Shiverpaw. "Now, do you two literally have competitions every day?"

"I'll help myself to something from the fresh kill pile," Sunfall agreed. "I know, it was just a perimeter check. They aren't kits. My loyalty to the clan doesn't run very deep, but you guys gave me a home. I'm not going to pay you back by being the betrayer in the prophecy, or the one to bring any sort of harm to this clan or anyone in it." She bowed and left the den, selecting a squirrel from the pile and devouring it ravenously. Then she crawled into the warriors den and dozed off. She would need more sleep if she were to see Shadowthorn later that night.
