"Do you want to join the clan or something?" Sunfall asked, taken aback. She really did have an ally here. "If so, you're out of luck. Echostar will never accept a rogue, and she'll either let you off with a sound beating or kill you. But if you really want to join, I think I can help you out." How badly did the rogue want to join the clan? The more she wanted to, the better chance of her bowing down to Sunfall and Shadowthorn.

"Those two are a little eager to be deputy." she said, pondering. "Anyways, I want you to supervise them, closely, or let someone else do them. We need to know whether or not is it real,"

Stormwhisker:
He nodded. "Of course," he replied, then went off to find Thicketpaw and Shiverpaw. When he found them, they were sniffing at something. "What are you two doing?" he asked. "And where's Sunfall?"

Emberstreak: Once she felt the basin of the river, she thrust herself into the water, cringing slightly at the bitter cold. She made sure to keep control of her motions in the river. She struggled a bit in the current, but managed to help herself up onto the other side. She watched the others behind her, along with the rabid badgers. She kept close by the edge incase somebody needed her help.

Thicketpaw: He smiled at Stormwhisker's remark, "We're going to sneak up on Sunfall!" He said eagerly, but kept his voice low enough so that nobody else could hear.

Whisperpool's attention was drawn to the patrol. Their idea for getting rid of the badgers was risky, but possible. She pointed with her tail to where the cats where heading. "Look," she mewed. "Will they make it?"

Littleivy looked at Whisperpool then down at the patrol. She looked at the river, then the cats, then the badgers, understanding their plan instantly. "They will, we will watch them and help them in any way we can, but I'm sure they will." She meowed, glancing at the cats, and Shadowthorn. The black tom's destiny twisted in ways she couldn't yet explain and his fate was shrouded in shadow.

Hollybreeze leaped into the water as she reached the bank. She struggled slightly, but managed to thrash her paws forward and sink her claws into the soft muddy bank. The fæ heaved herself up and stood beside Emberstreak.

Shadowthorn jumped into the river and used his muscles to swim across and up onto the bank pretty easily. He turned around and looked at Briarpaw, glancing at the she cats.

"She did tell us to hunt, so we did," Shiverpaw mewed, pointing with his tail to the piles of prey. "But when we came back Sunfall wasn't here so we wondered where she'd went." He explained, sharing a glance with Thicketpaw before returning his eyes to Stormwhisker.

Briarpaw held her breath before leaping into the water. The cold made her freeze and she could just break her head above the water before her legs grew stiff and she found it hard to move. Now she was panicking. The apprentice felt her head sinking and she could only push tiny lengths with her slowly stiffening paws. With great effort, she let out a cry for help before her head sunk below the water...

Blindwhisker stood up after it seemed no cat was coming to help her up. The blind elder used her whiskers to feel around, carefully putting one paw in front of the other. She banged into the wall once before sitting down outside, grooming her fur as if nothing had happened.

Alaska flattened her ears. "If Echostar doesn't let me in I will kill her myself." She grumbled with a single lash of her tail. The white cat couldn't tell the warrior of her plans to kill her anyway, because that would get Alaska killed.

"I like the way you think," Sunfall purred. "What rank are you interested in? Deputy? Leader? Or simply a warrior?" This would pose problems later on, but Sunfall wouldn't worry about that now. "There are whispers of a rebellion against Echostar- a rebellion that she killed long ago. With only two remaining members." She swung her tail back and forth slowly. "And I'm one of them. If you can help us take down Echostar, your reward will be great."

Emberstreak: Her ears flattened at the sight of the apprentice being pulled by the current, she had to act fast. Hurling herself back into the stream to save the fallen apprentice, her vision blurred slightly by the rushing water. She managed to make contact with the back of the apprentice's neck, and grabbed on. She pulled her back like a mother picking up a kit, but a much heavier kit to be exact. She felt the hot breath of a nearby badger as she continued swimming towards the stream, a badger clawed his way toward Emberstreak; but she managed to leap out in time to only receive a few, small notch on her leg. She let go of the apprentice on land with a huff, and lifted her head slightly to help any water lodged in her throat come out.

"Great. We'll meet up with the other cat later tonight at the training hollow. Anyone asks, your name is Frostfur, and you're my sister. Another rogue that I didn't tell anyone about. Got it?" Sunfall was pleased. Shadowthorn would be proud of her for finding another ally. "See you then. I have to go." Sunfall dipped her head and pelted through the thicket, not caring if the cat knew where to meet or not. She would figure it out. It would test her intelligence. She was stopped by Shiverpaw, Thicketpaw, and Stormwhisker creeping through the thicket. "Done with your task?" Sunfall asked, forcing herself not to grit her teeth. What where they doing? They better not have been doing... that.

Hollybreeze's eyes widened at the sight of Briarpaw struggling. She was about to jump in when Emberstreak got there first. Once Briarpaw was back on the bank, she stared at her expectantly, waiting for her to wake up.

Shadowthorn rolled his eyes as Briarpaw struggled. He didn't even make an attempt to save the apprentice and just sat, watching the others rescue her. He tried to look like he cared by widening his eyes, but he couldn't really care whether the apprentice died or not.

"Yes Sunfall," Shiverpaw beamed, pointing with his tail at the two healthy piles of prey. He narrowed his eyes as Sunfall looked suspicious. Surely she didn't know they were about to go spy on her? "You alright Sunfall?" He asked.

Briarpaw felt teeth meet with her scruff just before she felt light headed. The apprentice felt her head break above the surface of the water and her body come in contact with land. Her eyes flung open and she coughed up what felt like a river of water. Briarpaw lay, trembling on the ground as the cold gripped her limbs and made her breathing uneasy.

Alaska was about to ask where the training hollow was but she ran away. "Frostfur... Nice name." She mewed to herself before bounding in the opposite direction. The white fæ thought that she might as well go looking for it now while she was out. Crawling through the undergrowth, she kept her eyes open for any sight of a hollow. It could take all day to find it, but she didn't care.

"I'm fine," Sunfall murmured. "Just doing a perimeter check. Let's see what you guys caught." Sunfall sorted through the piles of prey, counting them carefully to determine the winner. She looked up at Shiverpaw. "Shiverpaw wins," she meowed in slight surprise. "Let's take this back to camp. Then we can continued doing some more stuff." She grabbed as much prey as she could carry in her mouth and headed for the direction of the camp.
