╚════════════════════════════╝ minnowpool padded into the medicine cat den, sighing as she lay down before dusktail, one of the medicine cats. she gave a small smile to patchpelt, then looked over at the dark coloured tom as he assessed her wounds, then grabbed a few herbs.

╚════════════════════════════╝ dusktail was busy at work sorting some herbs when minnowpool, the queen patchpelt and her two kits padded in, the two older she- cats looking rather worse for the ware. minnowpool lay down and dusktail grabbed some cobwebs and pressed them against a couple of her wounds. he padded over to patchpelt, looking over her wound, curiously. as he grabbed the right herbs, he started speaking in his slightly high pitched voice. "what happened to you two?"

"A badger." PatchPelt responded, keeping an eye on her two kits to make sure they wouldn't start wandering around the den.

╚════════════════════════════╝ dusktail glanced curiously at patchpelt's answer, purring with slight amusement, but concern. "well, that's just no good. what do you think it was doing on our territory?" he asked, pressing some cobwebs against her shoulder wound.

"It's hard to say..." The queen commented."It might had been searching for food or has cubs somewhere. Hopefully not the last."

╚════════════════════════════╝ dusktail nodded slightly, his tail flicking uncomfortably. "well, hopefully it was a one time thing.." he said, grabbing a few more herbs. "one a scale of one to ten, how much does your wound hurt?" he asked, tilting his head in question.

"Hmm..." PatchPelt glanced down at the wound."I'd say a 5." She meowed, flicking her tail around.

Vinepaw/Male/Medicine cat apprentice/Tagged;

When he saw Patchpelt and Minnowpool come into and camp and going into the medicine cat den injured he grew concerned and followed them into the Medicine cat den. He peered in watching Dusktail carefully in hopes of learning something.


Candy/Female/Kittypet/Tagged;

She realized the badger could be in the area and turned her head to Cherry "we need to leave quickly" carefully coming out of her hiding spot and going in the path she saw the other cats go.


Cherry/Female/Loner/Tagged;

She quickly chased after Candy "we shouldn't be going this way!" she hissed at the Kittypet in hopes of convincing the cat of turning around.

╚════════════════════════════╝ dusktail nodded, letting out a small sigh. he turned around to look at the wall of herbs, searching for goldenrod to assist with the bleeding. he chewed them up, trying to go as fast as he could. he took the cobwebs off of patchpelt's wounds, pressing the chewed goldenrod onto the badger bite. he nodded, stepping away from the queen and continuing the same steps on minnowpool, pressing the goldenrod on her cheek and sides from where the badger had pounced. dusktail stalked over to search for the finishing pain killer, just in case they were in more pain than they admitted. he grabbed some raspberry leaves, as they were the first pain herb he lay his eyes on. he dropped a few leaves over by patchpelt, nodding for her to eat them. he did the same for minnowpool, then sniffed at patchpelt's kits curiously. he nudged at pidgeonkit, making sure they weren't hurt. his ear twitched as he stood up from checking out the kits, sniffing the air. he narrowed his eyes, titled his head in confusion at the scent that was being carried through the air. it was a smell he hadn't ever smelt before, and he quickly thought, searching his memory for a clue. his ears perked up with alarm, and he looked quite panicked.

PatchPelt titled her head when looking down at the herbs before starting to chew on the leaves. The leaves left quite a sour taste, but started to work almost immediately. PatchPelt dipped her head in thanks for the leaves and cobwebs before getting up and giving her fur a small shake."Are you alright, DuskTail?" She then asked when noticing the medicine cats panicked expression.

PidgeonKit
PidgeonKit responded with a purr from the nudge, lifting her paws on the medicine cats nose in a playful manner. Yet as the tom's head moved away rather quickly, the kit dropped down on her belly, letting out a small squeak.

ShadowKit
ShadowKit had settled himself beside PatchPelt in the nest, trying to keep his eyes open. The tom was worn out from the day's actvities and would have gladly curled up right now.

╚════════════════════════════╝ dusktail shook his head at what he was smelling, it was probably just the scent of badger screwing up his nose. he turned his attention back to the queen, smiling slightly. "oh, no I'm fine patchpelt," he glanced down at pidgeonkit and shadowkit, then back at the queen, looking from her to minnowpool. "anyway, you two should be alright for a little while. both of you get some rest, and talk to foxstar, he should obviously know about a badger on his territory. but please let me know if you need anything further, I'm always here, always.."
