"I know this really nice pond just off that way," Savannah said gesturing with her head, "I'll take you there. Hang onto my paw really tightly though, I don't want you to let go and get dumped in the middle of nowhere," she chuckled, "I have super sonic speed abilities you see."

Axel nodded and held her paw tightly/

Savannah smiled and shot through the forest like a bullet towards the pond. After only a few seconds she skidded to a halt by the banks of the pond. Cat tails grew around the edges and a few lilly pads with blossoms just begining to bloom drifted across the water.
"ISn't it great?" she asked, looking at Axel.

[<Terminal March>]

Axel closed his eyes and smiled. "it's amazing.... I haven't seen a place like this in a long time."

"Yeah, I just stumbled upon it one day. I'm not sure how many others have found it but I supose that isn't what matters." Savannah said with a shrug and a smile. She wriggled her haunches and leapt into the water, screaming all the way. She laughed as she splashed down and came up completely soaked.

Axel chuckled and smiled for the first time since they met.

"The water is unusually warm today." Savannah said, "It feels really nice. Come on in!" she smiled and floated on her back.

Axel smiled and waded into the pond.

"See? Nice. Much nicer than moping around in a cold smelly cave. No offense or anything." Savannah said.

Axel smiled again and walked over to her.
