They look better already, just a scratch after all so he would be back to hunting in no time. His apprentice would be so happy about his battle and escaping with minimal injury, still remaining fit enough to train despite his age and fading senses. It gave him a bit more confidence in himself about being a mentor... For now.

"Long as you can focus, friendship is great and all but the clan should still come first. Besides ya big fur ball, I'd fight tooth and claw for you too. Never know when you'll need the saving or a shoulder to nuzzle against."
