She walked across the snowy path she had been following and heard a few cats. Oh no! She thought, if I'm caught by the clan cats mom told me about I'm dead! I only know how to hunt in terrible at fighting she groaned to herself. She stood still in the snow with her eyes closed trying to blend into the snow

DoveTail

DoveTail pirked her ears as her paws sunk in the small layer of snow that covered the ground, DoveTail and RippleHeart were two of the fluffier cats of the clan, with their light fur it was perfect for the two to hunt in a pair in Leafbare. The last Leafbare they had, the two went on an expedition that lasted a whole moon, they came back with the largest of rabbits they could find.
DoveTail twitched her tail in anticipation, she loved the times she took hunting. Ive got it, Ill find the escape burrow it has and ill chase it out this entrance where you can snatch it She smiled, her pawsteps drew lightly across the frozen ground, her fur muffling the movements in her muscles and the flickering of her ears.. they looked like tiny radars seeking sound for the exit burrow..
Dovetail stuck her nose into a small mound of snow, watching as the soft snow broke away at the slightest of her touch into the gape of the exit burrow.. Her haunches raised as she bolted down into the warren, her tail following far behind her.
There was many squeaks and screams, hard thumping sounds emerged as the hares ran out to the entrance RippleHeart guarded.

She saw Dovetail and ran off looking for a hiding spot, she came across a rabbit and grabbed it with her jaws and kept running until she was tired. She finally slowed down and ate some of the rabbit, I hope that clan cat didn't see me I better hide my scent in case I'm being followed she told herself and rolled in the snow and kicked the rest of the rabbit under the snow.

Rosesong darted out, approaching the hawk quickly. She bit as hard as she could into the hawk's neck, holding the grip on the bite until the hawk started to stop fighting. She scratched at the hawks chin as she bit in again, this time with all her strength. Her as the hawk slowly died, she pushed away from it, the blood on her mouth dripping onto the cliff. "Oh thank Starclan, we did it." Rosesong mewed.

RippleHeart perched herself behing a light snowdrift as DoveTail began looking for the exit. Peeking her eyes over slightly, RippleHeart watched her friend stop, then disappear all together. perfect... she thought, getting ready to leap. The grey and white she-cat howled as two large rabbits came dashing out of the burrow, Snow trailing behind them in a flurry of white crystals. "aha!" the she-cat cried, leaping on one and snapping its neck quickly. The other gave chase. Leaving the dead one in the snow, RippleHeart dashed after the other. Her bulky fur and thick muscles made it hard to run, but the hare was slow enough she was able to chase it back towards DoveTail. "Hurry!" she called to her friend. "He's coming straight towards you!"

AspenStar released his grip as the hawk came to a still. It was a massive creature, an would feed the clan for a few days at least! "great job RoseSong!" he exclaimed, examining the bite. The would was clean and the meat would be good for a while. "And great job to you too VixenTuft-" He started. "You did an amazing job luring him in." The hawk was large and would need several cats to carry it back to camp. Carefully, AspenStar slipped himself under one of the wings, hoisting it onto his back.

DoveTail

Dovetail quickly emerged from the warren enterance with three small hare pups in her mouth,hanging limply from her lip.
She quickly set them down as she saw there was another hare running about as if it were crazed. She smiled and the fur on her back bristled, her extreemly long tail made it overly easy to make sharp turn and her tiny stature made it as easy as running across a barron woods over snow. Her claws were spread to be able to bolt as quick as the hare could run.
The hare let out a small and stiffling scream as Dovetail leaped upon it, snapping its neck as quickly as she could.

Dovetail huffed as her chest heaved, her small frame she draped over the new prey she had gotten.
Oui.. I.. Dont remember.. Hares being so.. Large She breathed, breaking out into a small laugh as she looked down at the hare, it was half as big as she was.
RippleHeart, My dear, I think we have done well She chuckled, slowly limping over to the three pups the had snatched.

Thank goodness those cats didn't see me she told herself, she walked back to the old cavern she and her family used to live in. She sat infront of all the beds expect her own, I will remember you freedom she said and dropped a small bark of wood on his bed made of leaves, i will remember you mom and dad she said and dropped 2 stems of cherries on their bed. She went to her own and fell asleep.

RippledHeart Chuckled and padded up to her friend, touching her nose to DoveTail's shoulder. "J-ust like old times, eh?" she panted, hoisting one of the large rabbits onto her back so she could grab the smaller one in her jaws. "Get the pups, Ill take these guys. AspenStar will be happy to see this." she mewed triumphantly
