Snowpaw shook her head. "maybe we can find some by the fresh kill pile? I'm pretty sure there were a couple of rabbits there earlier." She set the moss in the corner with the rest. careful not to tarnish it and to put it out in a fashion so that it would dry out quickly. The apprentice flicked a tufted ear. Her mentor was probably wondering where she had gone, and the hunting patrol hadn't returned yet, which worried her.

"I'll check the fresh-kill pile." Lionclaw offered after Snowpaw gave the suggestion. "Would you like to help me or..." His speech trailed off once he spotted his littermate approaching them.

The fluffy coated queen trotted up to the group, her gaze set on Snowpaw. "There you are. I need you to watch Ivykit and Nightkit for a bit." Since there weren't any other queens in the clan she frequently sought out her daughter to watch her youngest kits whenever she needed time to herself. "Unless you are busy of course." Her tone made it clear that she was expecting Snowpaw to agree to watching the kits unless she truly did have something that required her immediate attention.

Snowpaw looked up at her mother. "No, I can do it." She stated obediently, trotting out of the medicine cats den with a goodbye flick of her tail to IcyHeart and LionClaw. Holding once she left the medicine cats den, Snowplow scanned the camp for the two dark pelted kits with her odd eyes.

Icyheart nodded at the approaching cat "Good afternoon Lightfeather. I could watch your kits instead for you. These two are kinda busy trying to help me do something for my apprentice Autumpaw." She smiled sweetly and sat down wrapping her tail around her paws.

She was born in a small cavern in the mountains her dad taught her and her brother to hunt and fight which would serve them well as mountain cats, she was released into the wild later on at the age of 14 moons with her brother and was bad at fighting unlike her brother who was good at fighting but her brother died of lack of food her dad lost a lot of fur from a fight and froze and her mom fell off the mountain

Lionclaw waved his tail in a goodbye gesture before leaving the den to he could search the fresh-kill pile for what Icyheart wanted.

Lightfeather gave an affirmative nod to Snowpaw, glad she agreed so readily. "Thank you for the offer Icyheart." She meowed to the medicine cat. She hesitated a bit before saying her next sentence, "If you really want to then alright. You can tell her you'll watch them." It wasn't that she didn't trust Icyheart but she just liked having someone she knew a little better in charge of her precious kits.

Nightkit pounced on his littermate. The young, fluffy coated tom looked like a dark ball of fluff sitting on top of the squirming Ivykit. He mewled triumphantly and refused to get off his slightly smaller sister despite her protests.

nodded, catching a glimpse of the two balls of fluff play fighting in the corner. "Nightkit!" she called, trotting over to the two. "What in starclans name are you doing?" She didn't sound angry, just confused.

"Winning!" Nightkit meowed proudly. His brief moment of lost concentration was enough for Ivykit to have shoved him off causing him to tumble on his side.

Once she was free, Ivykit launched herself at Snowpaw in a clumsy looking pounce. The young kit was not all too coordinated yet but that wouldn't stop her from trying to attack her older sister. "Get out of here you evil fox!" She mewled while grabbing at her leg.

(oh yeah i changed their ages to only a moon so it would make more sense for Snowpaw to have been from an older litter)
