RippleHeart chuckled, following her friend at a quick pace. "have you ever thought about becoming a queen?" She asked casually. She didn't think DoveTail would, since she was more persistent on being deputy. Which might be better for her anyways because of her small size, but she couldn't help but be curious. Clumps of snow begin to wedge themselves between Rippleheart's paws as she waited for her answer, cooling them slightly.

Snowpaw halted in her tracks. "Hey LionClaw!" she called to the older warrior. "I-I think we're going the wrong way!" realizing this little advantage in their game, the apprentice took the opportunity to race back towards the river, getting a head start.

Lionclaw paused to look around while Snowpaw dashed off. It wasn't until a few heartbeats later that he noticed she had used this opportunity to get a head start. He quickly dashed after her but since they weren't too far off from the river he didn't manage to catch up to Snowpaw before they reached their destination. "I guess you win." He said in a breathless huff once he reached the river, a happy sparkle to his eyes.

Snowpaw looked up t the older cat a sparkle in her odd eyes. "You would've won if i hadn't realized we were going the wrong way!" she said cheerily, making the game seem more fair for him, even though she knew he didn't really care that she had won. the she-cat scanned the area. "Hey IcyHeart!" she called, waving her tail at the medicine cat once she had located her. "You and me, we both blend into the snow so well! I could hardly see you!"

DoveTail smiled back at her dear friend, My dear what she-cat dosent dream of becoming a queen one day.. Problem is there arent enough Toms in the clan and certianly none that would stoop so low as to pick me as a mate She cooed softly, The distant caws of ravens echoed through the trees.

Lionclaw offered the medicine cat a friendly smile in greeting once he spotted her. He moved towards the edge of the river and carefully walked alongside it until he saw the fresh moss Icyheart had mentioned before. "Here." He meowed before starting to gather up what he could carry.

RippleHeart shook her head. "Don't put yourself down like that." the young warrior mewed, trotting alongside her friend. "Just because your smaller that the average mountain clan cat doesn't mean that others in the clan think less of you, we're not like that." RippleHeart stopped in her tracks as she picked up a small hole in the snow with her keen eyesight. rabbits! She thought excitedly, her tail fluffing in anticipation. the she-cat nudged Dovetail with her nose to get her attention. "Over there.." she murmured, motioning towards the hole.

Snowpaw trotted after her kin, tail held high like a feather in the air. Gently, as though she were a seasoned moss-gatherer, the apprentice began working her claws into the soft moss. It tore from the icy ground with ease, and few dirt clumps were left behind. "We should get as much of this as we can!" she exclaimed. "Once the first storm comes, there won't be enough moss to build new nests."

Lionclaw lifted his head and nodded in agreement to what Snowpaw said, his mouth too full of moss to reply vocally. He looked at the others expectantly while waiting for them to gather up as much moss as they could carry as well.

Icyheart smiled and mewed "Hello. Yes I agree we should get as much as we can carry which is why I have brought some large Beech Leaves. They will allow us to carry more than we normally could." The medicine cat gathered bunches of moss and washed the dirt off of it in the water. Because of her experience she can do this quickly and has two leaves full of clean moss before the other two even have half a leaf full.
