I just woke up to see everyone gone, quite a surprise to wake up to DoveTail smiled, neatly folding her very long tail over her paws as she began to eat her meal of the small mouse. There was a massive size difference to DoveTail and most of the other cats in Mountain Clan but she was very kind and sweet to anyone, even a cat whom could tower over her she wouldent give a second thought to be incredibly sweet to.

"Keeping watch." Lionclaw responded without bothering to open his eyes or get up. In reality he had not been assigned the task and it was likely unneeded but he liked to believe he was helping the clan somehow. He finally sat up and said, "You could sit with me if you want. Or we could find something else to do. Think you're mentor would mind if I took you out for some training?" Honestly he was eager to leave the camp and taking Snowpaw out would provide a good excuse to do so.

Icyheart finished her mouse and looked up to see Lionclaw and young Snowpaw. She laughed and padded over. "Hello. I could use your two's help. My apprentice Autumpaw, needs a new nest but insists she is fine with the dirt one. I wanted her to have a soft one made of new moss and rabbit fur... Could you two help me while she is sleeping? It would mean a lot to me." Icyheart smiled sweetly to the two cats.

RippleHeart nodded, finishing up her mouse and licking a paw to draw it over her ear. She glanced at IcyHeart, sighing softly. "It's probably best not to bother her.." she murmured softly, drawing her paw around her ear again in a swooping motion. "She's upset because AspenStar told her she couldn't hunt with them on the peak this morning. That they had enough cats already and there's no snow up there yet to hide white pelted cats." The warrior blinked down at the smaller she-cat. "He's trying to pick a deputy you know. It's a big deal that he picks just the right cat for the job."

Snowpaw jumped off of him eagerly. "I don't think she would mind!" she chided, eyes big and pleading. She blinked over at IcyHeart as she padded over. "ohh!" she exclaimed. "Like a scavenger hunt!" she looked up at Lionclaw, then to Icyheart, then black paw. "Could BlackPaw help too?" she asked, bouncing a little out of excitement

Before Lionclaw had the chance to say anything more to Snowpaw, the clan's medicine cat was asking for assistance. "Sure." He agreed to her request with a single nod. "I'm sure Blackpaw can help if he wants." He added with a glance at Icyheart in case she wanted to object to the tom's help for any reason.

Icyheart smiled at the young felines excitement "Sure. As long as you don't cause any trouble. And as long as you don't wake up Autumpaw." Icyheart looked over at Rippleheart then flattened her ears to her head sadly thinking to herself That is not the only reason I'm upset Rippleheart... She looked back up at the cats and smiled, doing her best to hide her hurt.

DoveTail sighed softly, Dear you know how badly ive been wanting to be a Deputy, I have probably talked your ear off when we were apprentices about how much I dreamed of that. She smiled, Her tail twitching in a playful manner.
DoveTail and RippleHeart had gone way back into kit-hood, There were often a times where Ripplehearts mother had watched over the two kits when DoveTails mother had gotten deathly ill.
Ah well, my dear, I hope the snow sets in soon.. I have been dying to get back into hunting as frequently as I do in Leafbare.. She whispered, Her voice was very soft and gentle.

RippleHeart chuckled. "Do I remember? ha! How could i forget DoveTail!" she chuckled, her whiskers twitching playfully as she smiled at her old friend. "Actually-" she started. "I was out earlier training Blackpaw and the snow fields are already covered. if we bring back some extra prey that would definitely set you apart from all the other deputy candidates."
