The Way of the Wolf

[Ravendarus]

Cira listened to him pace around, her head following the sounds.

[Snowdrift]

Midnight stopped then he continue pacing again, mumbling a little louder, some of his words becoming clear. "Blind......stupid......King....kill......pups...."

[Ravendarus]

'Mhmm he seems stressed' Cira noted in her mind.

[Snowdrift]

Midnight continued. "..If only I.....no, that would work.....maybe if....no....ah!" he stopped in his tracks an idea coming to his head.....then he lost it. He snarled loudly and continued pacing back and forth. "Stupid....stupid...stupid...."

[Ravendarus]

"Midnight, I think you should calm down a bit" Cira said worriedly.

[Snowdrift]

Midnight snarled softly. "No, I need to think!" he paced faster, his claws digging into the ground. "King...he's probably planning on attacking us soon. I'm partly blind! He's going to take that advantage and try to kill me!!!" he snarled. "And then your pregnant!!! He'll kill your pups and take you in as his own!!!"

[Ravendarus]

Cira's ears lowered she knew he was right, "You are right Midnight he is most likely planning an attack" She said quietly, "We will have to plan something" She thought about it.

[Snowdrift]

Midnight then stop in his tracks. "Or maybe he wants us to think that! He probably wants us to think that right now! We had not seen him in forever....He's probably waiting for the right time!" he looked around anxiously and sniffed the air. "We have to be on guard! That wolf! Dark! He'll be spying I know it!"

[Ravendarus]

"He is very good at spying" Cira commented with disdain in her voice.

[Snowdrift]

Midnight barked. "I know!" he ran around the edge of camp and sniff around. "See we have to be...very careful." he said, sounding stress and crazy now. "We have to kill every wolf that comes close to this camp.
