Jane crouched with Knight and listened.

"I just want to learn something off my mistakes, but that doesn't seem to be happening." Moon turned his head and saw the pups in the bush, but turned away and stared back at Midnight.

Midnight followed Moon's gaze then looked at Moon. "Your punishment will come to you sometime soon, as for now, I want you to go on patrol.

halley somes up behind jane and knight "dint your parents teach you not to evesdrop?" she says loudly

Moon nodded and picked up Jane. "Sorry Halley, but Jane can't play. Knight, Jane, go to the alpha's den and stay put, okay?" he put Jane next to Knight then nudged the two. "I'll be back after patrol." Moon licked his daughter and nodded respectfully at Midnight before flying into the trees and running the perimeter of the camp.

"wow thats the first time hes actually called me by my name."she smirks

Knight nod and walked towards then den,whispering to Jane. "What do you think was going on?"

Midnight nod back to Moon and watched as the pups made there way back to camp. He shook himself trying to rid his body of the water and then he looked across from the lake.

Jane stared at Knight as she walked. "I'm not sure. I think my dad feels bad about what he did to the other wolf, Chris."

Moon passed by every tree, every stone, every piece of grass. He examined the floor for any pawprints, sniffed the air for any scents, and he snapped at any noise he heard. He wanted the camp to be safer than ever.

Midnight looked at Tex and smiled softly. "Your asking the wrong wolf that question. The one you should be asking is your beta." He let out a soft sigh. "I feel that Moon is starting to feel the true weight of a beta."

Knight looked straight ahead at the camp. "I wonder....what will happen next."
