He holds back a chuckle at Karamhawk shuffling to groom, guessing the pressure of two toms would make any she-cat nervous. In the back of his mind, he was positive that wasn't the case but it was still something to smile about. Heading out of camp, he checks the air for anything interesting close to camp. As usual, it was just the many mixed scents of his clan mates and a bit of stale shrew that had to have come by overnight. "Sounds fine to me."

The mouse was hardly filling and made her taste buds scrunch up in displeasure. Old prey was certainly bad prey in the way of taste, but she stood quickly and put the thought behind her by washing out the taste with some water. The cat had placed herself upstream from the border, trying her best to respect the other tribe's customs as some of them weren't interested in speaking with her. Aggressive it would seem, she headed west in hopes of finding something else to help kill her hunger. Before long, she'd be too thin to pose a threat to the smallest of meat eaters.

Pebblefur;;

Pebblefur turned eastbound, and he scented the air. He could immediately smell the sparrows and mice gathering food. "There's plently of prey here." He whispered to Karmahawk and Raintail.

"How is everything?" She asked, smiling.

Nodding, he splits away from the group and tracks something of his own to hunt. Clustering together was a bad idea, but there was safety in numbers so it was best not to travel far. He kept low as he tracked the scent of a mouse, something good for the apprentices to munch on if they hadn't gotten around to hunting yet. His own stomach felt empty, but ignoring it for now he finds the small, grey rodent picking through the dirt and leaves.

Pebblefur;;

Pebblefur crouched and stalked into the bushes, looking around carefully. He stayed under the bushes for a minute before spotting a mouse. He unsheathed his claws and lowered his tail. He slowly moved forward, trying not to make a sound. When he was in pouncing range, he pounced and sunk his claws into the mouse. He clawed it a few times before killing it.

"Yes there is" she whispered back and treaded across the ground almost soundlessly. Watching Raintail split away. Quite tempted to hunt she did the same but not by Raintail as she knew she did not want to disturb him if he was hunting too. After a little while she saw a mouse munching on something and she crouched and leaped swiftly and clawed it with one swipe noticing how much more plump it was than when she looked at it from farther. Grabbing it she decided to show Pebblefur. Finding her way through the forest she found Pebblefur and showed him. "May I bring this back to camp quickly?" She asked. Then seeing his catch she decided to praise him for his catch.

Pebblefur nodded. "Nice catch. Once Raintail finds something we can drop our catches off and then patrol the border." He mewed.

"Ok then." She answered back. "So, hows it been for you?"

Creeping up closely to the mouse, he leaps out and catches it between his paws. He was quick to deliver the killing bite, silently thanking Starclan for the meal before picking it up and looking for the others. The grey tom remained fairly low, not wanting to alert prey as he returned to their original spot. "Looks like a successful morning."

"Pretty good." He answered. "Thank StarClan! We can take these back and start the border patrol after." He said, grabbing his catch in his mouth. He padded forward toward the camp.
