Maple woke up in a small tent on the side of a long abandoned road, he climbed out of the tent and folded it up, placing it in the wagon before pulling it towards the road and making his way towards the nearest town.

Moonlight quickly run sover to the counter, ordering a croissant. She quickly then sits down, reading the news. "Come on, not one opening?" She reads more.

The 20 year old alicorn feels awkward, she senses someone looking at her. "Can I NOT be stared at?" She grabs the news, pays for her food, and runs out to the fountain in Ponyville.

Maple saw a small town just up ahead, he sighed in relief and entered the town, setting his wagon beside the fountain. "Ok... Let's see if anyone has money to burn.." he said softly, levitating a few ornate books out onto a shelf attached to the wagon.

Moonlight quickly reads the levitating newspaper front of her while she's running. She stumbles, but doesn't fall. She keeps going. She quickly stops. "AHA! FINALLY!" She had found a open application. From 2 years ago. "Oh, well..." She walks away, her ears drooped.

Maple looked at the mare who had ran past him. "Excuse me miss, would you be interested in a vintage spellbook or two?" He asked the mare with the newspaper.
