Peek squeaked, poking her beak through her ruffled wings. "Yup. I wanna do that again!" She laughed as she got up and shook her feathers clean again. "Come on!" she hopped to the tree and started climbing again.

Meka chuckled. "Eh, good job?"

Dusk frowned, concerned, but after peek got back up with constant determination, he internally cheered the stubborn little owl on.

Peek tried the same thing once she got to the top. "So... how did you guys do it?" she asked, stopping and tilting her head.

Philomena looked up. "Smart owlets. We must get going soon. Tomorrow is our best shot. The winds will pick up and carry us straight to Ga'hoole. We should sleep until Tween Time (Sunset). Then we can probably catch the currents." she said, her eyes glimmering with thought and creativity. "I just need to check in with the battle claw repair and say that i'll be gathering coals." She said, her gizzard twitching with excitement. She spread her wings and flew up to the highest perch, which was unoccupied. "I'm going to go get it over with. You owlets keep practicing." she said, flying through some secret passages.

Shard shrugged as he replied, "I don't know honestly. I visualized where I was going to land and it happened. I concentrated on it and I just.....landed."

Peek nodded, and closed her eyes, trying to visualize her landing. She opened it and flew up a few flaps, then dove, she arched her wings, going partly fast, yet slow, and barely going down. She landed with only a few flaps and cheered. "Yes!"

Dusk stared after the disappearing owl. Tomorrow... He'll need to practice... He tried soaring off and landing a couple more times, then tried lifting off straight up.

Shard grunted as he took off, pumping his wings hard to get to the next branch. Once he made it, he decided to try for the next one.
