Peek said nothing. She heard an owl yell; "Move along! Hurry up!" and she tried to go faster but she tripped. "Eeek!" she tried to scramble back up but an owl noticed her. She gulped.

as she was still being pushed along she noticed all the owlets that come from the direction she was going had cloudy eyes. she then understood she would look like them if she went wherever she was going. Sunrise spread her wings out and planted her feet into the stone ground refusing to go on. The great horned owl behind her looked at her surprised then called out to some of the other owls around him. 3 more owls came up and tried to push her forward but she only refused more and batted her wings at them. One of the 3 owls, a great gray, grabbed her in his talons and started walking with her in his talons to the place where she would be what the two whispering owlets called moonblinked. She tried thrashing in his talons but he only gripped her tighter.

Shard moved quickly, setting his talons under Peek as if he was still walking and helping the small owl up. "Keep moving Peek," he whispered.

Dusk:: Great Grey
Dusk wilfed a bit when he saw an owl get carried off. ”Look. Don't copy. You will get moon blinked there, harder than now. Just pretend to be one of the cloudy eyed owls...”

Peek whimpered. "But what if they notice us?" she whispered, trying to get up and keep moving, but the owls had already noticed her. "Come on, you two. Get up. You'll be moon'blinked soon enough." Peek set her claws on the ground, refusing to move, but the owl was much bigger than her. He picked her up in one claw and tossed her forward, towards the large cavern. She looked around, looking for Shard, or Dusk.

a while later she was out of the moonblinking area. She had found a way not to look at the moon, but now she was alone and had to walk like the other moonblinked owls did to make sure they didn't notice she wasn't moonblinked. She followed the line in what was the same place as when she was taken out of the line. She continued to also watch the two nonblinked owls.

She noticed the nonblinked owl being shoved back towards the cavern. Sunrise waited till the owl was pushed near her, then Sunrise pretended to trip as well and ended up by the owl. "just continue to pretend your moonblinked still and make them think they made a mistake" she whispered to the owlet.

Dusk:: Great Grey
I watched the elf owl getting tossed up. I squeezed through the throng so I could get near her. ” Careful now. Don't talk.”

Peek just whimpered as they got closer, and closer...

Shard shrieked as an Eagle owl shoved him with a growl, "Get moving! Either realize your nobility or get moonblinked with the others." His feathers ruffled as he was shoved into Dusk's back, trying to keep his footing as he walked.
