The fiery orange sunlight gave Venus' pelt a darker tint. It was time to go see Jace, and she couldn't be happier to do so. It had been hard to get away from the others, especially her brother. He was always so protective of her, and he had been suspicious about why she was so eager to leave. Hopefully her lie would remain; She had told him that the hunting was amazing in the plains at sunset. He wanted to come with, but she had assured him he had too much to do. Now, she found herself running at break-neck speed, her every step bouncy and reeling with excitement.

[Charisma.]

The rays of sunlight beamed down on Jace, making the fur on his back and sides look dark brown and silver. His mighty mane seemed to glow in the sunlight. His golden eyes seemed to glow even more as he looked into the distance. It was just before sunset and he had kept in mind that he would see Venus again. She'd been on his mind all the time, despite what had happened or how long it had been. Swiftly he took step after step, remembering her sweet scent. He remembered where the pride lands were, everything. Going from pacing to trotting, he continued, until the trot turned into a light jog. He wasn't too far from camp, more like the outskirts. He could almost smell her again. Like she was right next to him.
Just a little while later, he could already take in all the different scents, the other lions and lionesses, and Venus was close he knew it. She was very close. slowed down, and gently, slowly made his way through the swaying grasses. The suns rays beat down as he walked, lighting everything up. He could feel her already. She was very close. His ears flickered and his breathing was gentle. He could feel her presence nearing by the second.

Venus was crouched low in the grasses so Saramba wouldn't see her. She was hidden. Until, of course, she spotted Jace and leaped up. She started into a bound, taking in his scent as if it were the oxygen she breathed. She felt so empty away from him. She felt so cold when she wasn't wrapped in his embrace. She felt abnormal when she couldn't feel his breath on her neck, or when she couldn't bury her face in his mane and know everything, no matter how bad, would be okay. She was a bit late, she knew. "Sorry I took so long. Samba was suspicious." she murmured as she nuzzled his neck. Her heart skipped a beat at all the familiarity - Jace's scent, his intoxicating golden gaze, his smooth voice, the smile that caused butterflies in her stomach... And so many more that would take her eons to explain, even to herself. Speaking of explanations. If she couldn't even explain her feelings for Jace - they were all jumbled, she hadn't even had the chance to sort them out and interpret them - to herself, how would she ever explain them to Jace when the right time came? Venus decided not to think about that. They were just great friends right now. They needed time to catch up.

[Charisma.]

Jace couldn't help but let a smile start forming on his broad muzzle when he noticed Venus bounding towards him. A light chuckle escaped his lips as she pressed up and nuzzled him. How he missed that. He lowered his head just to bury his muzzle into her neck fur, feeling the warmth. "Its alright, no worries." He replied as she said she was sorry for being late. "Its been much too long. Venus how is everything? I've missed you." He hadn't ever been this open. Time had healed all the wounds, but left scars both physically and emotionally, but now he was choosing to forget everything, start over. Stepping back he came around her and to her side, their sides touching as they walked.

Hrath saw Madi start to fall back. Once he reached the hunting grounds, he waited and searched for a good meal. An angry boar was charging right toward him. Roaring suprise he dodged out of the way but way to slow. The boar hit his leg with its horns and blood seeped from the puncture wounds. The red liquid oozed out. The boar turned and charged again. He leaped up, ready this time and jumped over the boar. He turned and pounded after it, hooking onto its leg with his claws. It stumbled and fell, giving Hrath the time to give a killing bite.

Madi ran after him but stopped to see the boar. She glanced at the wound on Hrath's leg. She searched in a nearby forrest for herbs to help. She found a specialized plant that helped heal wounds quickly. When she returned to Hrath he was already up and running after the boar.

"Here." Hrath said flinching because the wounds in his leg stung. "Eat." He hissed and more blood splurted painfully out. He sunk his teeth into the juicy flesh and tore off a chunk. the flavors exploded in his mouth. The meat was warm and fresh with the soft liquid, blood. Its deliciousness spread throughout his body and so did the warmth. Hrath hadn't seen Venus all day and wondered what she had been up to. Lately she had been going out a lot more than usual.

Madi shook her head, "Not until I take care of you." She took the plant and placed to of the leaves on the wounds. The two leaves covered them up and she licked the blood off of his leg and smiled.

Hrath growled as the sting from the medicine soaked in. Madi licked the blood off his leg. He sighed. "Thanks." (WB XC)

Madi nodded, "You are very welcome." she smiled and took a bite out of the boar. The yumy taste of meat and blood filled her mouth with happiness. She looked over at Hrath to see how he was doing. She gulped down the meat and sighed. "Im sorry if it stings."
