Hrath looked up at her. "If you say so..." He still had his doubts. He knew that many would try to get Venus and she would go on date like things with them. You never know what might happen with the lions on them either! A voice boomed in his head. "DAD!" Hrath flew to his feet, his eyes wide and growling. Hrath's claws were extended. Look at you! You made a stupid fool of youself again my son! She'll think your crazy! "AAARGH!" Hrath roared. "GET OUT! YOU DON'T DESERVE TO BE HERE! GET OUT!" Hrath couldn't believe this. His father was trying to ruin his 'love life.' His fathers laughter cackled inside his head. "YOU'RE DEAD! YOU ARE DEAD!" Hrath began to sob and flopped to the ground. He would not show his face. It was too embaressing. "I'm so sorry. I think I'll go." he turned away but just could not move. Then a soothing voice came to his head. Ask her Hrath. Don't let your father fool you. Do it for me... Mother! He whipped around. "Venus can we go somewhere tonight?" he asked.

Venus stepped back, looking at Hrath in surprise. She attempted to speak quite a few times, but was interrupted by Hrath's wild screaming. His father talking to him, though he was dead? Odd... Venus then smiled softly. "Of course." she said gently to Hrath, but then looked back at Jace. She remembered her words to Jace when they'd returned only an hour or so ago: We'll hang out tonight if you want. I promise... She sighed slightly, then looked back to Hrath with a forced smile and nodded.
"Yeah, of course." she said again.

Hrath looked at her happily. "Thank you for understanding...me." he added for the sudden outburst. You turned around and grinned a giant smile. He had done it. He had! He walked into his dena nd jumped for joy. He had never been this happy in his life. He might have a chance at Venus if he tried.

Venus giggled. "No problem. I'll be back, gotta go do the border check." she said, turning and beginning to pad away.

Gea smiled as the two padded away. Might as well hunt. Nothing better to do. She padded out of the camp. She had said so many words today she vowed not to say another. Hrath had gotten to her angry soft side. Lucky lion to hear her talk so much. She padded out the sun's rays pulsing on her back. Soon it would be sun-fall. She adored the bright colors of pink and orange. And if lucky, purple. Even thought purple was her least favorite color it was decent in the sky. She scented a wild boar and looked around. The boar had been going East from the way his tracks were going. Little spot lay on the ground...Blood. Some lion must have attacked it and decided not to follow. But she would.

Hearing Talia say something about him being weird, Jace growled from where he was, but didn't turn around to do anything. He'd only slept under that tree so that tomorrow they could all choose actual dens at the meeting like he'd heard before. Suddenly something struck him as he heard other voices. Now he couldn't sleep. He hated it when he woke up and then couldn't go back to sleep.

Opening his gleaming golden eyes, Jace listened but didn't say anything. Lifting his head slightly so he could see who they were, he noticed it was Venus and Hrath. Turning himself slightly, he then watched as Venus went off on her own. Where was she going? Sighing rather deeply, he then rested his head down again, but didn't fall asleep.

Lifting her head from inside her den, Shadow realized that Hrath had gotten back again. He was talking to Venus, and then Venus left. Smiling slightly when she noticed Hrath was back, Shadow laid her head back against her paws. Her ears swiveled back but she couldn't resist flicking her tail back and forth. She wasn't tired or sleepy, but it was late and she didn't feel like coming out of her den.

Venus broke into her smooth, beautiful run, gliding along through the wheat and grass which billowed softly in the warm breeze. She raised her head high, the snow-white fur that hung over her eyes and off to one side blowing in the wind. Venus loved to feel this free; Especially after her past, when she always felt so binded by metamorphic chains. It felt so wonderful to have broken free, snapping those chains in half and escaping with an unusual gleeful joy. Venus giggled lightly. Her musical roar broke into the sky, wafting away in the breeze, the beautiful sound ringing through the air, catching the ears of every creature that heard this lovely music.

Jace opened his golden gleaming eyes once more as he heard a smooth rhythmic roar ring through the night. Sighing he rolled over so that his back brushed against the bark of the tree he was under. Without even guessing he could tell it was probably Venus out on a border check like he'd heard earlier. Unable to sleep he only deeply sighed and stretched his paws out again. He didn't really want to get up, but at the same time he didn't want to stay where he was.

((Venus didn't actually promise to hang out with Jace again that night, but lets just pretend she did... I wanted to create more drama >3))

Venus quickly returned from border check, hurrying it purposely. As she padded into camp, she glared into the den of Saramba, who might or might not be there; If he was there, she got to make him feel bad. If he wasn't, oh well. As she padded in, her head pointed upward, looking at the birds in the sky, she almost tripped over Jace, until she saw the tree out of the corner of her eye and remembered Jace would be there. So, she twisted her head down, and tilted it to look at Jace, her face only an inch or so from his. "Mornin' sleepy." she said, her gentle sing-song voice warming.

Shifting Jace glanced up noticing it was Venus. She probably just arrived from her border check. "Its not morning yet...." Jace murmured sleepily even though he couldn't sleep. Turning he sat up and shook out his mane glancing at Venus, the lioness with the musical voice. "Whats up Venus?" he noticed her face was only an inch from his, which kinda made him stop breathing. Regaining his balance he stood up and flicked his tail, suddenly remembering she'd said they could hang out for the night.
