softpaw purred in amusement and smiled widely at rubblejaw, the she-cat feeling pride for her clanmate being appointed to deputy. however, at the end of lunastar's speech, she announced she had to speak with softpaw. the siamese mix cat's heart stopped for a moment, before her father shaking his head and nudging her to get up, the cat walking over without tripping. she could be rather clumsy when attention was turned to her, but quickly cats were just calling out rubblejaw's name and softpaw slipped over to lunastar's den and waited quietly. "yes ma'am?" her soft voice came out, holding her small head high.

mudpelt joined the cheers of cats calling out rubblejaw's name. he was proud of the she-cat for being appointed deputy, and this showed that just about any cat could be put in a high position, no matter their handicaps. not that rubblejaw had any noticeable handicaps, she was a very strong cat. though lunastar then announced that she needed to see his daughter and his ears perked up at this, looking down to see his nervous daughter. he nudged her softly and told her it as alright, and his daughter walked off, making him give a small sigh of relief but still wondering why the leader needed her.

she listened to mudpelts reasoning and nodded in agreement. wrapping her cream ringed tail around her paws. her intense gaze staring into her leaders. afew moments passed when the leader said that this meeting was for the deputy. gingertooth had a few names in mind. her eyes widened in astonishment when rubblejaw was called, she let out an excited purr and her paws tingled with excitement. "rubblejaw! rubblejaw! rubblejaw!" she continued to chant with the clan until the chatter finally eased. rubblejaw jumped down from the high rock and lunastar was having a seemingly serious conversation with softpaw. getting herself to her paws she exscused herself from mudpelts and hers, sort-of-conversation. she walked excitedly over to rubblejaw, nuzzling her ear in congratulation. "good job rubblejaw." she smiled a toothy grin, her snaggle tooth visible.

she smiled softly narrowing her eyes at rubblejaw who seemed to be staring at something behind her. turning around she saw softpaw and lunastar. she let out a 'hmph' sound and returned her gaze to the shecat. "anyways, what was that with stonepelt i saw?" she smirked and let out a chuckle, nudging her should with her own.

plumheart cheered also, but right after he went over to the freshkill, and snagged a vole with his claws. walking over to a shady tree he smiled at his passing clanmates. taking small bites of the vole his eyes narrowed on lunastar and softpaw. wondering what they conversation could be about.

Adderpelt was busy padding toward the prey pile. He was glad that Rubblejaw won the prize of deputy, but he didn't think she was his type. They were friends though. He pricked his ears, realizing how hungry he was after sitting through the clan meeting, and snatched a vole from the prey pile. He swept his creamy tan tail around himself as he dug in.

Gingerpaw scuffled around camp, playing with a leaf boredly. She actually got into playing with it that she didn't see where she was going, and bumped right into Badgerpaw. She giggled. "Oops! Sorry! I didn't see you there!" She laughed again and saw Stonepelt not too far off. "Stonepelt, Stonepelt!" She yowled, racing toward him. "Can we practice battle moves today? Can we, can we?"

She purred, " I know, you're a good medicine cat." she said licking her head, "And i want you to become are new medicine cat." she said a smile coming across her maw. "Anyways, i had a dream a few days ago, that said " nothing will be the same," she said her ears flicking nervously. "Any ideas of what it could mean?" she said, her paws tingling nervously. She sighed, and looked around the camp at Stonepelt training Gingerpaw. She smiled, and focused back on Softpaw.

Stonepelt brought the fresh kill to the pile, and dropped it slowly. His ears flicked in amusement at Gingerpaw's excitement towards fighting. "Sure, but are you ready?" He said tackling her and pinning her down. Her sniffed her, and smelt Badgerpaw. "So you've been hanging with Badgerpaw again?" he said, slowly releasing her. He smirked, he almost knew they were friends. He wrapped his tail around her. "I am a enemy warrior invading camp, What do you do? " he said his snarl coming threating. He showed his teeth, furiously hissing and running towards the queens. Like a good threat would do.

Gingerpaw blushed a tiny bit as Stonepelt mentioned Badgerpaw. How did he know she was friends with him? Ruffling her pelt, she didn't know that Stonepelt was going to tackle her. "Hey!" She giggled, cuddling him as he sat up. He was like a father to her since she never knew hers, and loved him dearly as one. But, when she heard that Stonepelt was pretending to be a enemy invading the nursery, she hustled toward him and pounced, pulling him down and play-biting him, then rolled over and nuzzled him. "You are defeated!"

softpaw smiled up at her leader, her eyes blue eyes sparkling at the praise, but then it fading when lunastar admitted to have having a dream. the message was very vague, 'nothing will be the same'. "was there any cats around, or any animals at all? do you remember any of the things around you?" the she-cat asked. she would better be able to decipher what the message meant if she knew a little bit more. only after bombarding the already nervous leader, she bit her lip and regretted it. she wasn't supposed to be annoying, she was supposed to help out the clan.

mudpelt almost wanted to slink away to see if he could hear what lunastar was speaking to his daughter about. he was one of the only cats he knew that had a daughter and still called her "daughter". as well as softpaw being one of the only cats around with a parent still alive. it saddened him, because even though he could be very hard-headed, he had a huge soft spot for his own daughter and didn't want her hurt. the sandy-colored tom shook his head and walked over to the fresh-kill pile, smiling warmly to plumheart as he picked up a bird and sat down to eat it.

lunastar's heart sped up, and tried to get words out. "I did see a dog, maybe a sharpclaw[cougar] too. " she said her whiskers twitching nervously. "Do you have any ideas? " she asked trying not to sound too worried. She was almost unable to show emotions. She flicked her tail in dismissal. "Think about it. Tell me when you can. Don't stress over it, it's probably nothing!" she said her head bowing in distress. Her eyes softened "Please put some mind into it." she said. [wb]

Stonepelt looked at Gingerpaw, and smiled. The sun was still up but it had to be getting late. " Get some fresh kill and rest, tomorrow we will start hunting. " he said licking her harshly. He padded off. He saw Rubble, and Gingertooth. "Hey, Rubble, and Ginger!" he said sitting behind them. "What's up? I just finished training Gingerpaw." he smirked, looking sincere. " I um, wanted to know if you ladies wanted to share a bunny or something. " he said with a grin. He looked at them nervously and licked his paw drawing it over his ear.

"pfft, please! don't worry about getting tomcats, we both have something off about our jaws, and I still get plenty of toms." she said with a cocky manner, puffing her chest out in exxageration. Her head swiveled towards stonepelt a smirk growing on her features, "yeah sure." she turned her head to see if rubble would say yes. her ears grew hot in embarrassment, she was pretty sure that stonepelt only asked because of rubblejaw being here and he didn't want to disclude me. shuffling her paws awkwardly in the sand she turned towards stonepelt with a questioning gaze.
