She purred and ran over to blackkit licking her. She purred and meowed "are you alright love. are you ok." she licked the kit vigorously

Moonkit roused awake as she heard commotion outside of the den. She carefully stood up, sneaking away from the sleeping SilverRidge, wanting to see what was happening outside the medicine cat den.

I let out a tearful laugh as Brookestar licked me. I must have worried her sick. "I-I'm alright." I said through my tears. I leaned in closer taking her scent. The scent I loved so dearly. "I'm alright Mom." The word slipped out so naturally I barely noticed. But I didn't correct myself. Brookestar has been a mother to us since we came to Hollyclan 3 moons ago so it was only a matter of time before I recognized it myself. "Blackkit?" I turned my head to see my brother walking towards me slowly.

I still couldn't believe my sister was standing there in front of me. But seeing her with Brookestar reassured me that it was, indeed, Blackkit. But I was scared to go to her. I knew was going to hate me. The brother that promised to protect her just sat and watched as she was taken away. I didn't even call out to her. I just watched! But I had to say something. So gathering up my nerves. I called her name and walked forward slowly. When I got closer I stopped and let my eyes drop. "I'm sorry Blackkit. I should've protected you and-" I was cut of by her jumping on me and purring like crazy. "Oh stars Whitekit. I missed you so much!" I let a tear fall as I allowed her to mess up my fur with her crazy cuddling. I was so relieved that she wasn't angry. "I missed you too." I looked over and smiled at Brookestar and continued to cry. My whole family's here now!

She purred and smiled at her kits, tears rolling down her cheeks. She pulled the kits closer "I'm so, so ,so overjoys that you are both ok" she licked the top of the kits heads

He was almost asleep in the med-cat den, when he heard little paws moving about, he didn't move still pretending to be asleep

I saw little Moonkit trying to sneak out of the med. cat den as I reached the entrance. "Go back to your best Moonkit. You need to stay in here till your sickness goes away. You wouldn't want the rest of the clan to get sick, would you?" I said gently while guiding her back to her nest. When she was back in her best I turned and saw Stream. "No," I whispered rushing over and pressing my nose into her fur. Her legs started to twitch and a few seconds later she was awake. I looked over and saw her eyes burning into mine, filled with pain and fear.

Stream~

Water was rushing towards me, so close. That's when I realized it wasn't water, it was blood. I tried to scream but nothing came out, I couldn't move either. Instead I was forced to watch as the red liquid washed over me. Suddenly I could move, but it was to late. My legs desperately churned in the sticky liquid, but it was no use. I screamed and jolted awake to see my mother beside me. I barely had the strength to lift my head, so I didn't.

Starshine~

I watched the whole thing miserably. It was obvious that I had messed up. Now Bluewhisker would never like me. Why did the day have to go so wrong? That's what I asked myself as I stared down at my paws. Stop it Starshine! I'm the deputy! Even if everything goes wrong I can't just sit around all day staring at my paws. I need to be there for the clan no matter what. They depend on me and Brookstar, I can't let Brookestar or the clan down. I sat up straighter and looked around at the clan. Just because things go wrong doesn't mean that they don't need me. We'll need patrols, I thought to myself, looking around to see who would be fit enough for patrols right now.

After a long day away from camp with Heatherpaw, Harepaw and Bluewhisker, the four finally returned with prey dangling from their jaws. The lot of them had been confused and uninterested by the current events, glad to see both Whitekit and Blackkit were snuggling against the leader once more. Sighing, Wrenfoot dismissed the apprentices and flopped down outside the warriors den with his robin; dying to eat something.

Moonkit let out a dissapointed mew as the medicine cat directed her back into the den, telling her that she shouldn't be getting everyone else sick. She saw the medicine cat walk over to another cat, worriedly. Moonkit curiously walked over. "Why is she here?" Moonkit asked, her large eyes filling with confusion. This cat looked distressed and scared.

The kits smiled back at Brookestar. "Hey Brookestar," Said Whitekit. He looked at his sister and a silent agreement went between them. Blackkit knew what he was going to ask and give him a nod. He smiled back at her and then together they said, "Can we call you Mother?"

The kits purred back. They always saw Brookestar as a mother but now that they embraced it, they felt closer to the clan leader. After a while Blackkit let out a yawn. "I'm tired..." She mewled quietly.
