Atwood, being the bit-of-a-lazy-guy he is, was dozing off inside his den, not far from the village he had found when he was a Gabite. He found himself staying outside it, instead of in. Am I just too shy to enter the village? Good grief, a Garchomp like me shouldn't be! Finally, his luminous eyes snapped open, his jaw erupting in a yawn with his fangs glinting in the bit of sunlight from outdoors. He stepped outside, narrowing his eyes a bit from the sheer brightness. Atwood preferred darkness, but that was just him.

''Take that, you imbeciles!'' Hinan shouted in his slight British accent. He had used a Dark Pulse on some attacking Pidgeotto. The stupid birds have been at me all morning! Let me have some peace, will you?! Aggravated, he unknowingly let off a Shadow Ball that blew them all off. ''Finally!' He turned to the fleeing Pidgeotto with a frustrated gleam in his dark eyes. ''And don't come back, you bags of rotten feathers!'' he called after them.

The tiny Pokemon had to pause and think. He remembered that Marci had spent days collecting a huge stockpile of every berry he could imagine. Oh, yeah, I forgot about that! He thought, but then frowned when he recalled how he ate most of the berries, and lost the rest. “Uh, well…” Zebra said finally, looking down at his feet. “Marci and I don’t really have anymore berries. I, uh...ate some of them...Well, actually, I ate all of them...and she yelled at me.” He confessed, shuddering at the thought of Marci’s rage.

Spark flicked his tail, looking around for anything to do. I'm actually unoccupied for once.. he thought, growling to himself. It's not as relieving as people say it is.. It's just boring. The bored Luxray walked away from the spot where most Pokemon stayed, deciding to sit on a flat, grassy area where he, at the time, couldn't spot a Pokemon around.
