breezewing flicked her tail, padding out of the warrior's den. she saw wolfstar and she could've sworn her heart skipped a beat. she really liked the tom but of course she'd never admit it to anyone but herself. her brother knew, but it was impossible for him not to know. they had been through it all together and he knew when something was going on. she waved her tail in greeting to him and greystream and padded onwards, purring softly.
dustfire yawned and stretched, waking up finally. it took him a moment to realize that he had slept in! he quickly jolted awake and stepped on some poor cat's tail. "sorry!" he exclaimed, sprinting out of the den. he bit his lip and saw redflower, padding over. "hello, redflower!" he purred, looking a the beautiful red tabby. he purred softly, his heart beating at a steady rate. "do you want to come on a walk with me? I have something that I've been meaning to tell you..." he smiled, ready to tell her about how he felt. he had been holding it in for a while and he knew that if he didn't tell her eventually, some other tom would sweep her away from him.
swanpaw padded out into the forest, going on a hunt by herself. she wanted to practice for her assessment, even though it was moons away. she crouched, resting her tail on the ground and sniffed the air, her tail was there to sense movement and her nose to smell it. she sensed something large and furry thumping against the ground and she sniffed it, a fat vole. she soon spotted it with her careful eyes, crouching more and springing up with precise speed and energy. she landed on top of the vole and gripped it tightly in her jaws, waiting for it to stiffen. once it was dead, she padded back to camp, proudly holding it. it wasn't that easy for her to hold it, it was a very very large vole, the biggest she'd ever seen, and she wasn't very strong. she placed it in the fresh kill pile, huffing softly.
