Fallenstar crept around the vole and got into position, his eyes watching Mudface. When the tom leapt, Fallenstar slammed his paw down on the startled prey, snapping its neck with a swift bite. He picked up the body and trotted over to Mudface, his eyes glittering with victory. "Great catch!" he mumbled through the prey, setting it down to scrape leaves over the vole so they could collect it later.

The she-cat chuckled, "Right, maybe the clan will be blessed with a litter of kits this newleaf." Twitching her ears, Sweetrose reared up and began clawing further up the tree's side, letting the soft moss fall into a pile below her before she dropped down to gather it into a ball.

Mudface purred in agreement, his eyes shining. It felt great to work together with his leader. "Good work." He commented, turning to smell for another rodent. His tail twitched as scents flooded his senses. He never was good with picking the individual scents out. He focused, closing his eyes. Finally he noticed the faint hint of rabbit, but couldn't make out which direction it came in. "I smell a rabbit, but it might be off our territory." He murmured.

Mothwing nodded, purring as she watched the younger cat. "I will be happy to welcome any cat that decides to take this path. It's quite a difficult choice, to give up love." She mewed softly, thinking about the petty crushes she has had over the years. Of course she never acted on them, and normally brushed them off as stupid emotions that got in her way.

Personality;
DarkCloud is a rather young warrior, so he often likes to seek out adventure. He can get full of himself if he catches a difficult piece of prey like a rabbit or dove. His vanity can get the best of him, as he is often getting himself into sticky situations. He is very easy to please, so don't be surprised if he is facing tee by a little snowflake.

loonwing - female - kittypet - 19 moons⌇ The rather pudgy kittypet bunched her muscles and shivered violently in the "unusual" cold. She had only been out here for maybe a half-moon, and she still wasn't accustomed to the cold climate. Loonwing, as her former wild father named her, sniffled and dug a shallow hole below a bush to rest.

morningcreek - male - warrior - 23 moons⌇ Morningcreek slapped his bushy tail against the rock hard ground around the edges of camp, reassuring himself that the camp was a secure shelter for the season. "Any patrols yet?" the deep voiced tom murmured rather loudly, his eyes darting from side to side in case someone heard.

Ryefoot - male - medicine app. - 19 moons⌇ The multi-colored tom plopped a few beech leaves down near the entrance of the medicine cat den, ready for any herb and berry hunting he would need to do soon. Ryefoot's rather gregarious soul didn't want to go alone, so he grimaced and sighed.

"Prey is prey, right?" Fallenstar mewed, "If it's not too far off the border I don't see why we can't get it. The clan needs all the prey it can get." The clan leader flicked his ears as a leaf drifted down close to it, as if to solidify his words.

"Oh yeah..." she said softly as she gathered the last of the moss. "You think this will be enough?" Sweetrose asked her clanmate, eyes scanning over the two piles that they'd collected.

Mudface twitched his nose, but said nothing. He had not expected his leader to say such a thing, but lead to way in the direction of the rabbit anyway. It wasn't long before he spotted it, just off the border, and he crouched low, pointing with his tail. He looked to his leader for instruction.

Mothwing nodded, smiling. "Thank you, I really appreciate it." She mewed, gathering the moss and leading the way back to cam. Her long fur swished the forest floor, moss tucked against her chin and chest. When they got back to camp she ducked into her den and dropped the balls in the shallow pool that lay in her den. They would stay wet there, and the pool rarely freezed over. They were for emergencies only, easy access to water.
