Coleusfoot frowned as the deputy brushed it off and then looked back down at Brokenkit, tapping her lightly with his tail, "Good job! A big one too! You'll probably make a good hunter." He felt slightly bad for Brokenkit. He felt bad seeing her so upset about herself and so quick to be negative about her eyesight. She could make it work if she tried to. He was sure of that. He was glad though that she was so easily made happy again though. "You'll be a natural."

"Most likely not, tiger", She said with a laugh as Arrowpaw strutted around, "Glad to see you so excited to get on with it though. Come on lets go."She flicked her tail and stepped forward making her way out of the camp. She climbed out of the entrance into the pink forest around them. The lightly colored trees made the atmosphere seem far more light in cheerful, especially in the morning. It was cool and relaxing. She turned making her way to the back of camp so they would be headed to the southern most part of their territory.

Arrowpaw

The apprentice ran ahead, although he was never out of sight. "Come on!" He mewed, bouncing on his paws. "We gotta protect the borders from those mangy loners!" He made a show of sneaking up and pouncing on a leaf to demonstrate.

Brokenkit-
She meowed exited, "REALLY I WILL?! LIKE YOU?!" She was pretty exited and proud of herself. She still felt a little sad in the inside because of her name. "I hope when I'm an apprentice, I get a mentor who is nice like you." She meowed.

"Ha, maybe even better. You have a life time of opportunities, so who knows right?" He asked with a slight laugh at her enthusiasm. He sat down near her as she spoke more. "Well most of the warriors here are pretty good cats so it wont be too hard", He said with a smile rubbing her head with his paw.

"Yah, yah", Lionflame started into a faster gate and slowed down next to Arrowpaw, "Now remember you still cant bite first. You have to pay attention. Not to mention odds are we wont see any loners." She added again as the brush around them thickened signaling their closeness to the fields. Her tail swished upwards and she looked down at Arrowpaw. "I'm glad you feel so strongly about your clan though Arrowpaw", she added.

She was happy now. "There are so many! And maybe I will be a fine apprentice, or warrior, or DEPUTY OR LEADER, yaaaa..... Brokenstar..... Leader of cherryclan.... I will keep dreaming..... Maybe some day....." She meowed and took a small bite of the mouse she got.

Berrystar had chosen to sleep in today. His lack of sleep from the past few stormy nights had disturbed his normal sleeping pattern, so he felt like he needed to restore it. Berrystar blinked open his eyes to see the sunlight spilling into his den. He stood up and stretched his legs, then stepped out of his den. The cherry blossoms were looking very lovely, their pink flowers blowing in the breeze. He sat outside his den and groomed his pelt, watching the cats interact with each other. He purred softly when he listened to Brokenkit and Coleusfoot. Perhaps one day he would have kits of his own.

"Brokenstar has a good ring to it. I would proudly serve under you", He said standing up quickly like he was standing attention to the leader. He lashed his tail to the side looking back down at her while she ate at the mouse. He bent his head down close in front of her, "Hey you know where leaders get to go?" He asked smirking.

She nodded, "Ok..." She trailed off as they approached the border. She sniffed the air. Along with the sweet mixture of cheery blossom trees and the rich grass in the field, there was also defiantly the smell of loners. Some had been around there. Maybe they weren't there now but they had been there and that was enough to queue her to be careful. "Smell that?" She said asking both of the apprentices.

Blossompaw sniffed the airbriefly, but was cut off by Arrowpaw before she could answer.

"Loners!" His fur bristled, but Arrowpaw's eyes shone with excitement. "Let's teach them a lesson!"

Sunpelt

Sunpelt's ears flattened. He wasn't sure how recent the scent was, but any chance loners might be lurking around set him on edge.
